I think the boy Lallana will surprise a few.. Not his fault Southampton wanted X and we gave them X (+/-) a bit.. Forget the fee, I think the boy is quality and will allow us to protect the likes of Sterling and Ford.. Allows us to Rotate... We bitch when we don't buy someone and bitch when we do.. Depends on who else is in the group and how confident I was to progress without him. They've got a good player for an inflated price. Quoted figures for each were about the same and we took the lesser player! Lallana isn't bad, not sure he's what we need and he is no Sanchez. He's a poor man's dirty Sanchez. Let us prey... Good player... but we paid too much. Shaw for £30m was better value for money. We got Lallana, but what we really wanted was Sanchez. Lallana isn't bad though. I want to poach Barkley!
He's a good player and will add to the squad. For £25m, I expect a player to come into the first team and improve it. Possibly the most underwhelming 'marquee' signing since Carroll.
He's not though.. still reports out there saying that we still want Sanchez AND Shaquri! Patience grasshopper(s)
I say good as I don't know how he will handle playing for a new team. If he plays like he did for us last season then you will have a very good if not great player. I get what you mean about wanting Sanchez etc. But Lallana is a different type of player.

Haha sorry pal - I'm just in one of those moods! Right - I'm back, Lallana is a good player who will add to the squad and provide depth. Far more expensive but he's a player who can fit into the squad in terms of ability and sociably (i.e. with the English lads) so he's unlikely to rock the boat and disrupt team harmony. I know it sounds trivial but things like that are quite important.

25 mil for Lallana? I know it's not my money but hoping we do better than that. Still think we will get a winger: kono, shaq, Sanchez ( probably swings with the Suarez deal if that is actually one). Still would like a defensive minded CM ( Is Can still on btw?) and of course CB, LB, RB are still issues. Hmmm.
hope so, i think he is over priced personally, but understand the saints need to get value from it, be interesting to see what Koemen does with what money he gets out of this transfer window? anyone any ideas of the type of player he likes?
i am betting that sanchez is not interested per feedback in spain but shaqiri might be if bayern are willing and that kno is a nobody who will be lucky to get a deal now.
