Lived briefly in Seaburn years ago and can't remember the pies only the Swiss Bakers. I live in Poland now and they don't do pies. The Poles boil pastry!!!! I know it's just wrong! No wonder they keep getting turned over the troops must have been clamming.
So from the longest username to sarnie, pies etc. Anyone remember Cockburns in Silky. You needed Coles cranes to lift the pork dips out of there. Absolutely huge and full of everything they could scrape off the counter. Delicious.
An Ibbotsons Pork Sandwich was, and always will be the star in the pork shop Olympics . I was addicted to them in my younger days but spending lots of time in Muslim countries helped me to go cold turkey, still like the odd one or even two when I'm in Jacky's Whites though.
