Many people seem to have great affection for 'Vienna' by Ultravox, but it means nothing to me, it means nothing to me.

    Good stuff Sku.

Fleetwood Mac went down hill after Peter Green imo.

Susan's House would have been a possible for my list. I saw Eels at the Festival Hall a while ago and some people were calling out for them to play it. 'Susan doesn't live here any more' was the response.

Never saw him live Queens, just the recording of him singing RS brings me to tears! My first record I bought was Could You Be Loved, think it was a 7inch double A, can't remember what was on the other side for the life of me!

Only tweaking...and I may go back to tweak my list is too, as it wasn't there either....
    Fleetwood Mac.....Tusk

Didn't Fleetwood Mac do a lot of truly awesome songs in all their reincarnations!

I never got the chance to see them live but picked up a couple of rare [bootleg?] live CDs over the years.

Philip Schofield gets some well deserved stick alongside the obligatory 'you fat bastard' chant to welcome MC Jon Beast onto the stage.

Seen Carter USM live twice in the last 4 years, they seemed quite tepid now... compared to what I remember them as

Age catches up with us all

Yes - Close To The Edge ( I'm old enough to have been at their Loftus Road gig. My favourite band at that time, playing at my teams ground. Heaven!)
    King Crimson - Starless
The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
    Elbow - Tower Crane Driver
Richard Thompson - If Love Whispers Your Name
    Eddie Reader - Dear John
    Genesis - Cinema Show

Tusk in its entirety, including the breaks between tracks, just like Lyndsey Buckingham intended?

Thought we were allowed only single tracks...not albums...so it was just the track

I have the album in its entirety, which due to lack of windup gramophone I can no longer play....
It takes a bit of determination to get through it but well worth it imho

Great shout on "Assassing", Dreamer... I went for "She's Gone" as I like the Hogarth-era Marillion as much as with Fish. Hot on the heels of my choice was your choice, or any one from "Punch & Judy", "Incommunicado", "Now She'll Never Know", "No-one Can" or "Higher Ground". Great band.

    OK, here goes...

    1) Dick Grayson - if your going to be on a desert island, you might as well start your own cult and I think that "Holy Mackerel" could become a super-deity.
    2) Dick Fosbury - for the impressive ability to pluck those high up bananas and still landing in a position where of casually laying there ready to eat one.
    3) Dick Turpin - if you plan to build a transport network on your island, you'll need a highwayman... (?)
    4) Dick Whittington - ....and pave it with gold.
    5) Dick Cheney - to pulley when you flushey the looey.
    6) Dick Trickle (old racing driver) - just to laugh at the name really.
    ...erm...
    7) Julian Dicks - for all those natives legs that need breaking????
    ....errrrrr....
    8) Moby Dick - guess with all the dicks, this will be quite testosterone filled. Why not have one with more sperm than Marc Almond?

....oh.... S**T... this is desert island DISCS! :(
