There is no way on this earth they will wait 3 more years. I bet they are already looking elsewhere.

That's the point really. We don't want to sell, Fabregas has said that he is happy at Arsenal and looking forward to winning trophies with us, so Barca will need to go elsewhere..... Luka Modric wants to leave Spurs to play CL football, maybe they should make a bid for him?

He would probably get paid more as Barca's waterboy than he is at the spuds. He certainly wouldn't be picked as a Barca player though.

3 years is a bit optimistic. Iniesta will be 28 then and xavi 31/32 which is no that old. Besides neither of their games rely on pace so I can see them reaching a high level well in to their 30's.

If I'm not mistaken, Xavi is currently 31 and Iniesta is 27. Math isn't your strong point then eh <ok>

White Hot - I am quite happy that Barca buy him - but at £50m !!!!!! Barca should either pay up - or f off.

We have him on another 4 years contract !! My point remains if the demand is there - you have to pay. Else f-off. We have told them to go away for years......

**** it I give up. We are rubbish. All our best players want to leave. We will drop out of the top 4 next year and the glorious tottenham hotspurs will overtake us. Our manager is average at best. Our team is in crisis. The world will end when Nasri leaves which is inevitable. Happy now?

'So, the dilemma is this. Force a disillusioned player to stay yet another season with you and get nothing for him when he eventually leaves, or take £30 million now, reinvest the money, and move on.'
Are we talking about another N.London club - no can't be? who would ever offer £30m for one of their players who was pants last year?
