Totally spurious figures there? Prices for 2013/204 season were-

    Neil Hudgell Solicitors East Stand
    Adult: £405
    Senior 65+: £220
    16-22: £205
    11-15: £130
    10 & Under: £56

    MKM South Stand
    Adult: £395
    Senior 65+: £210
    16-22: £195
    11-15: £79
    10 & Under: £33

    Cranswick plc West Stand
    Adult: £450
    Senior 65+: £285
    16-22: £260
    11-15: £130
    10 & Under: £56

Those were full prices for new applicants, so the majority were slightly less. Your figure of £350 is way out. Look at the prices for kids, 16-22 year olds and senior citizens. The average will be more like £200-£250. Same with the 6,100 pay on the gate. It will have been far less than £28.

Our owner is prone to a little exaggeration, us plebs are a little more important than he suggested.

Can I just highlight a few things please and I want it to be taken seriously...

Almost all of us have always wished for the day to come when we are a comfortable premier league team signing very good players. It seems you cannot please a large majority because despite many of us being happy with what the allams have invested in our club and where they have got us there is still a large number of people who continue to panic, be negative and always look at what can go wrong.

For once why don't we just enjoy the ride and look at the positives.

We are building a very decent squad, one that is capable of a mid table finish with a few more additions off the back of sound investment from the allams and a clever manager in Bruce.

The future is bright, the future is amber :D

If they'd said it's a gift not a loan, we might be able to do that.

As it stands, the money is not ours, it's his- which means he can call it in when he wants/ throws a hissy fit.

You do understand this don't you?

That's rich coming from you. If we fall behind in the first half you go apeshit and call everyone from the 'thick fat ****' manager to the kit man.

So we should just stick our fingers in our ears going "lalala" and ignore anything bad? Would you let Allam rape your mother because of the good things he's done for hull city?

What investment is this? The crippling £100m loan that just sits there growing and growing, and incidentally, with it grows the amount of interest Allam gets back every year, currently about £5m.

So he's clever now is he? I though he was a 'thick fat ****'. From the horses mouth. Make your mind up, which is it?

    I agree with the above.
If we are serious about becoming an established Premier League club then these are the type of players we need to be signing. I don't think we are paying above the odds either.

Our only real assets are our players. We don't have the ground to sell.

Who knows what the owner's plans/targets are? He doesn't communicate them to anyone via the programme or local media.

I can't see anyone coming in to pay £100m to get control of the club.

I can't see the Allams leaving behind any money and will want it all or the vast majority back.

    That's what concerns me.

Last season there were 15033 season ticket holders who were over 16, that's why I wrote "Even taking into account the crude guesses at the average prices"

The figure may be a little high but not by much, that's why I wrote "Even taking into account the crude guesses at the average prices" The average day ticket is about right.

Interesting that you beg to be taken seriously, then cannot take seriously someone's reply to your points.

Ironic that you then suggest to the person who took the time to enter debate with you to grow up immediately before engaging in churlish name calling.

It was a comparison to gauge your stance on what is reasonable for Allam to be allowed to get away with.

It wasn't childish name calling, like calling someone a ****ing nonce or a prick.

How can you ask to be taken seriously when you reply by telling someone to grow up whilst slinging immature insults around at the same time.

You lack any credibility and cannot be taken seriously. It's about time you stuck to your word and buggered off this site, because all you do is fill space that people have to spend time scrolling past.

I'd agree with most of this, what concerns me is that we're now signing players for more than we are likely to realise on them if we're forced to sell them and our debt level is now ridiculously high.

I absolutely accept that it's better to be in debt to the owner, than it is to a bank, but what happens if the owner pegs it tomorrow? What happens if we get relegated?

We're playing loose and fast and as long as we continue to be successful, then we can handle it, but if things go tits up, they really are going to go tits up. It's what happened with Bartlett and if it happens again, the numbers are three times as bad.

Obviously, we all hope it won't happen and none of us are against us signing better players, but there must come a point where the risk outweighs the benefits and I think we're rapidly approaching that point.

Personally, I'm much more impressed with us investing £2-3m in the academy, than I am in us investing £8m in any player.

I'd be surprised if he's got a lass.

And if he has, she'd need to be in Miami to give Curtis a BJ.

As a side issue, how many seasons does Curtis need to continue his form, for it to be acceptable to call him Sarge?

I might make this a competition, I'll ask Justin to decide, though he's too nice and will probably say it's okay already. <laugh>

He say's he's got kids, if he has I bet he's holding them against their will & they're missing their parents.

The Curtis Davies blowy quote was one of his own posts that he previousley posted to Hats despite whinging about others, like he the little tit turd was to you last week.

Only one Sarge, Davies may soon be a Corporal & may be even progress to SM.

My lad used to love The Sarge. When the lad was proper young Justin came over to the crowd at the end of the game & signed his shirt, at Macc Town, I think. He loved that he came right over to the crowd & didn't just come half way over & wave.

Find that figure hard to believe. We only have 3,000 under 16s as passholders? Even if it is correct, there are a lot of 16-22 year olds and pensioners. I still think the average will be nearer £250 than £350. I don.t think pay on the day will have averaged £28 when you take into account the lower category games and kids,OAPs etc.
presumably all will be revealed in the accounts. As regards the cup, did you allow for the cut of gate receipts to the other club and the FA? Take away bonuses and expenses for the away games and we won't have made a fortune.
Of course it is all better than the days when Lloyd confronted Hateley on the car park at Oxford for spending money at a hotel screeching : It's my f*****g money!" or when the HDM announced the purse strings had been loosened to allow the manager to spend £35,000.
