6 years of 3 stripe charver ****, ah well I doubt I would have bought the strip anyway, but now I definitely won't.
Great deal for the club, like or loathe Adidas (I'm a fanboy personally...) it just looks good for any sporting club to be supplied by a top end company. After the Avec & Lonsdale days, Adidas is perfect, and a long term deal like this is unusual for a mid-ranked club, they obviously see some potential in us.
"The Black Cats initially became part of the iconic adidas stable in 2012, joining prestigious clubs such as Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, and the partnership continues to flourish." I hate this sort of corporate gibberish.
Well at least we won't be raking through the Sports Direct Puma clearance section looking for an away top to print on.
It is relevant though, would you rather we got Fila kits and 'joined Blackpool, Rochdale & Tranmere...' Marketing makes the world go round mate!
Kappa or Lotto would be my choice style wise. Money wise though, it can only be Nike or Adi Dassler, and to a leseer extent then Rudi Dassler or Umbro.
All sports brands are charvery. Theres as much nike stuuf as there is adidas that is charverish. And just as much of either that isn't. A lot of it has to do with what you wear and how you wear it. Unless its lonsdale. Then youre a charver.
Damn right, I'm about as far from a charv as you can get and I swear by 3 stripe original kicks for my trainers.
20 years ago when charvers were first coning into being it was 3 stripe charver because it was Adidas shell suits trainers, hoodies and the pants would be tucked into white socks Now it very well might be Nike, they ****ed up Burberry so why not **** up another good make in Nike. I will always detest adidas, the huge 3 stripes just look way naff.
I ****ing love Adidas and love the 3 stripes. I have 12 pairs of Adidas trainers, at least 20 different Adidas tracky tops and a **** load of T-Shirts, jumpers and hoodies. They are the best brand around
Whatever floats your boat, i wouldn't he seen dead in Adidas but each to their own. And I only need 1 pair of Nike, they last donkeys.
I'm with you brother, I ****ing love Adidas gear. Wear less than I used to like, but in terms of sportswear, bar 2 pairs of Blazers, I only have Adidas. I'm more of a Converse guy feet wise like.
