As I said, I was going on what I've seen on Twitter, rather than what I've seen here (as there are already over 110 pages of posts which would take ages to check)

But I'll ask now if you like.... who wants to get rid of him, and who wants to keep him?

If we get the right deal, I'd let him go this minute. I think the majority of us on here would. That being said, I'd not be that bothered if he stayed another year or so.

i would say all probably want rid, but at a fair price, as the club is being ****ed over here no one else and fifa have made it harder for us to sell when this was on int duty and he has been banned domestically as well, which has an unfair impact on any value we could get, if we don't get a fair price we have a world class player on our hands, nut case maybe, but world class.

but its been made harder for us to get rid now, is that fair?

I would be bothered, I was willing to see if he could change and he appeared to do so, he got kicked **** out of last season and didn't even blink but this proves that it was always going to happen at some point and that it will again.

We've all had to say many things many times. Wums come in relays and keep repeating the same tired old stuff without reading back to see that it's already been answered several times.
    It's getting dull now.

That would be somewhat different to what I'm saying though. That's the same type of attitude someone would have over a player who has been a bit rubbish last season but has potential. We'd be happy to sell, but only at the right price. Not someone who's a serial biter. What I'm talking about is wanting him out of the club as soon as possible, regardless of the price. Sure, getting a decent amount would be nice, but it's not the highest priority.

Been discussed again and again mate...all well and good us going moralistic and saying here! Take him for free we don't want him....then your club and every other club would obviously say "no!, we are moral too!"

Don't make me ****ing laugh... Any of our direct competitors would sign him in a flash, their supporters would cheer every eventual goal and we could take comfort in the fact we had the moral highground three places below his new team....

Can't take a moral stand whether you want to or not in an amoral environment.....and anyone claiming their club would is a ****ing liar.

The club will always be the priority but what club in the world can afford to throw away that kind of money we have to get a fair price for him and he's cost us millions with his actions, we need to make sure we get the maximum money possible so that we can reinvest.

Like I say I'm not that arsed, TBH. I'm fairly sure he'll do it elsewhere, anyway. Annoying, but nothing can be done.

It got dull over a thousand posts (or more) back! <laugh>

So true, a lot of clubs in this country would snap him up at a reduced price we need to play this one well.

If or and when he comes back, he has to be extra careful, everyone will be trying to goad him into doing it again. I know I would if I was facing him next season :D

And that's the crux of the matter. Football is completely morally bankrupt at all levels. It's one big ****ed up mess in which morality has no place, and of course expecting Liverpool or any other club to act as a moral beacon in a situation like this is naive and unrealistic, as Liverpool are just acting as any club would in their situation, even my own sadly (although that wouldn't stop me bombarding their e-mail address). Doesn't mean I can't be idealistic though, nor does it mean I have to support this ****ed up system.

Exactly. One more act of idiocy and what then? 6 month ban or a year? He's in the last chance saloon now and that will surely impact on his value?
