So Fifa have strapped on a pair and given Suarez a proper punishment (9 internationals and and banned from all football until november) seem appropriate level and the next time he brings the game down he should get a couple of years ban.
Purely out of interest, does anyone else agree with JWM, because the man is good at football we should overlook his character faults?

I think if it wasn't his 3rd time (that we know of) doing something like this then perhaps, but on the biggest football stage in the world then something needs to be done. no matter how good the player.
I hope that he gets the psycological treatment and support that he needs during his enforced break from the game and I hope he comes back a better person and an even better player.
I don't care how good anyone is, if they act disgracefully like that then I couldn't careless if they got a life time ban.
I see Suarez will return in time for Liverpool's League Cup 4th round game. So we know who they'll get in the draw for that match.
