Yep, he didn't get a 9 month worldwide ban and 100 community hours like some other thug that escapes my mind at this moment.

 

Pretty much what I was thinking but can't see us suing our own player. FSG will have put something in place to insure against this

I think think its too lenient... the guillotine they built in salford is going to go to waste.

 

We did well giving him a rest at the start of last season so we should be fine, no chance of us selling him this Summer though.

Whether it's right to bring in ban that impacts domestic competition will be debated but at least this is a ban that will hurt the player and perhaps make him think about his future conduct.

Though I suspect he'll just act the victim like he and Uruguay have been doing since the incident.

So suarez gets banned for more games for us than he does for uraguay. Bloody ridiculous.

- Two (?) Champions League games
- seven friendlies
- nine international

(subject to cup games)

 

It's not about Liverpool or Uruguay. It's about banning a player.
