Ghana midfielders Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng have been suspended indefinitely from the national team and sent home from the World Cup in Brazil for disciplinary reasons, the Ghana Football Association has announced. Both were involved in incidents involving "vulgar verbal insults" and an "unprovoked physical attack". Some unconfirmed reports suggest that unprovoked attack came in the form of a slap to an FA committee member from Muntari while he pursued him with a broken bottle. Boateng is alleged to have been involved in a verbal row with coach Kwesi Appiah. Both have been sent home immediately. from the Mirror
Aren't there issues about them not being paid appearance monies or something like that? Weren't they threatening to go on strike and not train or play? Clearly not a happy squad.

I'm guessing they don't trust the board and also maybe because they'd then have to declare it and pay tax on it if it was official. This way it'll head back home stuffed in socks, which is fair enough I guess, these poor lads are so poorly paid
