Ecuador have left this far too late. They should have gone for a goal early on when they had time. At least give it a go.
The Ecuador keeper really hasn't played that well to be honest. These two are talking like he has done a Kelvin vs Leeds type of display. Straight at him, all the time.
This guy... https://twitter.com/hjdm_/status/481917604861591552 Schneiderlin, the French Cleverley - apparently.
Now you put it like that, I guess it really was odd seeing him play for another team. Once I got over the initial excitement (okay, I admit, I still haven't) I thought it felt natural that he was playing for France, didn't look out of place at all.
Probably not. EDIT: having been out all evening, I was only able to watch the second half on iPlayer's 2 hour delayed broadcast of the France v Ecuador match. Having seen Morgan play well within himself, and being very comfortable, apart from one missed tackle, I thought he played very well indeed [2nd half only of course], if I place him on a scale of how English players play for England. However, he did nothing more, and possibly did something a little less, than what he does for Saints. I'm almost certain he will get better. He had that swagger and arrogance that he shows, when playing for Saints, so that's the critical confidence element sorted out.
