Probably not your thing, but I'm turning over for Episodes. Witty comedy about an English tv show transplanted to America and changed totally.

 

That's the one with Joey from Friends isn't it? I have always meant to check it out.

Oh, and if people are fans of Chris Morris and Brass Eye, then Jam is an absolute must.

 

I didn't mind it. Wasn't as good as the first three but production difficulties like not being able to get everyone together for long kind of messed things up. Needs more GOB though.

 

Why won't my cat come inside? It's getting dark and there's foxes outside

 

Foxes are pussies.

So's my cat (no pun intended). Seriously, she's super timid so it's surprising she won't come in, and she's quite young so I don't think she could take a fox. Not sure how fast foxes run either.

Wouldn't be so bad if we had a cat flap.

 

Yeah, I'm being harsh there aren't I. GOB is awesome isn't he! He along with Tobias are my favourites.

Speaking of Gob, he popped up in an episode of Parks and Recreation I was watching the other night (If anyone was a fan of the US Office then that is worth a watch too, it's not as good but very similar, and currently being shown a few episodes at a time on BBC4).
He was married to Amy Poehler and they appeared in loads of films and shows together, including AD. She was the one who he marries despite the fact he doesn't know her name!!

Good good! Have you got something food related that you can rattle or whatever to entice her back when you need to? You should get her some of those Dreamies cat treats - our cat goes mental for them and whenever you shake the pack she knows exactly what it is and comes belting in!

 

I'm a huge fan of Lucille too (not two). Jessica Walter is fantastic and it's so obvious why they picked her as Mallory Archer. I was very grateful for cameos from Charlize Theron and Christine Taylor, something nice to look at.

 

Ha yeah, Lucille is awesome, so dry and acerbic. It has been a fair while since I last watched AD, so a re watch could well be on the cards. Henry Winkler as the hapless lawyer is another of my favourites!

I have never got around to watching Archer, I will have to give it a go. Especially seeing as Jessica Walter is in it, her voice is great so I can see how it would lend itself well to an animated series.

 

You're going to love Archer. Not so much the last season, but the rest is gold. You'll be quoting it for years to come.

I may have mentioned it before on here, but seeing as the second series is coming out next month it's worth another mention as the first series can be watched on 4OD before series 2 is out. It's a British show called Utopia, anyone catch it?!
I cannot wait for the second series, I really can't. It's very conspiracy based but the main reason to watch it is for the production values. Absolutely stunning visually and the soundtrack is so good and unusual.
LTL may have heard of the guy who did the music - Cristobal Tapia de Veer is his name, and for his work on Utopia alone I am hailing him as a genius!

 

Archer is great. I haven't watched most of the last season because they tried a new direction and I hated it, but otherwise it's amazing. Archer is up there with Homer Simpson and Bender in my favourite cartoon characters bracket.

And Jessica Walter is great, because she basically plays Lucille.

People have raved about Louie, which stars Louis C.K.. Never seen it myself, but found out it existed earlier and critics rave about it. Nice to try the odd thing out of left field on occasion
