Anyone be taking an interest in Wimbledon? It starts on Monday.

It's the one sport MrsFT has a genuine interest and fondness for, so it's a no argument watch in our house, unlike most other sports.

What? Even if a game clashes with a proper game, say, at the World Cup?

I hate tennis and I hate Wimbledon.

I hate Andy Murray and hope he gets knocked out as soon as possible.

    I hate Sue Barker.

    I hate Cliff Richard.

I hate the middle class, middle aged, home counties woman that flock there and cheer on Murray like he's one their own.

    I hate Boris Becker.

I like Strawberries and cream but it's just not enough, not by a long chalk.

I hate Pimms and I hate Timothy Henman.

I hate it when some **** shouts something from the crowd and everyone laughs, as if it's funny when it's as funny as a madman stabbing you in the back whilst taking a drink between games. Wrong tournament but isn't poetic license allowed these day?

The whole thing just winds me up, it gets right on my tit end.

Does that answer your question BFT?

In short, will I f**kers like be watching Wimbledon.

I need to reevaluate my opinion on you now. You was in the top bracket, one of the finest. Now it looks like you're going in with the likes of AKCJ.

    Such a shame.

I was there on Monday (it seems rude not to go when I live a 5 minute walk away from the grounds). It seems that you need to queue up overnight now to get show court tickets (unless you get them via the ballot or a jolly boys corporate outing) and I'm not camping when I live so close.

There are some good matches to see on the outer courts if you go in the first few days. I watched Kirilenko defeat Stephens, a bit of Cox (GB) being destroyed by Chardy, a bit of Safarova defeating Goerges, a couple of sets of Ferrer, Kvitova defeating Hlavackova and then half a set of Wozniaki against Peer.

Also wandered down to the practice courts and saw Radwanska, Townsend and Cibulkova. A good day's entertainment for £20.

    Different isn't wrong Carmine.

Your love of topiary and medieval re-enactments don't sit well with me but I respect those as your life-choices.

I'm re-evaluating him too after he went against me about Wazza. Not a peep about Sturridges missed chances yistadee Carmine.

    Now he's watching this ****.

Strawberries as you say add Sharapova's screaming and thats it. The rest meh

I mean who wants to see Arsenio Hall in a white dress beating the **** out of a load of cowering girls, apart from Sue Barker and the other jifs......

I'm re-evaluating a few of you gents too. You're like so working clarss.

Bet you think Tapas is 3 items or more from Greggs.

Perhaps is because despite my bulk I'm actually a decent tennis player, which enables me to understand and appreciate the nuances of the game.

EDIT and Chazz, you're only still pissed off about our Roonster disagreement because I was so obviously in the right.

Im with CeeGee and Chazz here. I can't stand the game, although I can leave those who do alone normally.

However, you have chosen to ignore my perfectly reasonable question re: Does Football, and specifically the WC, take precedence over the tennis.

I suspect it's because you'd rather be watching the middle classes chortle at each other.

I have another question for you: Do you and your wife partake of "come dine with me" style evenings with your neighbours?
