Exactly, Fabregas, 27 in his Prime, Sanchez 25 yet to hit his, Thiago, also very young already very good and yet to hit his prime too..
They either want to put their eggs in the Messi, Neymar, Saurez (if/when they sign him) basket.. not a bad basket mind!
That or they don't have any money after Neymar's Parents took them to the cleaners and need to sell before buying.
They won't sell Inesta or Messi, Xavi and Puyol have left or retired and no one else in that team is of real value!
They've bought Racatic who's very good, but they need at a defensive parter for Pique..

Don't believe we've signed him but would obviously love it if its true!

  7. Maybe we should refer to him as Slambert?

Hopefully not, if we start next season with both, the attacking part of our side will be the best in the league. Shame about the defence...

It's L or S though... especially if La-la signs. LS- Luis Suarez's initials- and the initials with our team is based on.

    Luis Suarez
    Sturiddge
    Lambert
    Lalallalalalalana
    Simon mignolet
    Sakho
    Skrtel
    Steven gerrard
    jordan hender-Son
    Lucas
    joe al-Len
    Sterling
    Louven

Everyone has a name that starts with an "S" OR an "L"... or if not- has a syllable in their name start with an S or an L. That's why Aspas was crap- he had no syllables starting with an S or an L.... and why Borini was crap for us.

If this happens could we have the best front line options in Europe?

Suarez, Sturridge, Sanchez, Sterling, Borini, Lambert.

With Gerrard and Coutinho providing the ball and Henderson and Can doing the grafting. We just need Moreno to add some width on the left.

Big IF we get Sanchez, you can bet Borini won't get much of a look in... esp. if the latest on Lallana is that is now Money + Fabio for him.
Gerrard could also start to see limited time, esp. if Can settles quickly, more legs in the Middle with the likes of Hendo, Can and Ford. With a Front 3 of Sterling, Sturridge and Sanchez (be very surprised if Luis stays after yesterday).
But Gerrard will most likely start the season as a starter and depending on others see less time or continue to be the main holding player

Can't see anyone wanting him after yesterday though! :(

If Suarez stays- and we keep Sanchez (and of course have Studge)- I can't see Lambert having much time at all... makes his signing seem pointless.

Gerrard can still play plenty. His age is not a big deal. He is still in top shape, at least for the deeper role. His age is just a number, dont treat him different purely because that number is 34.
