Here is a player to compare Suarez to.

    That incident is very famous.

In Portugals opening match he was red carded for a nasty stamp on an opponent.

Compared to these incidents Suarez bites are nothing, and Pepe is repeat offender.

If uarez gets a 24 match ban Pepe should get a 50 match ban.

I dont think that should happen but if Fifa want to be fair and consistent Pepe must be punished in the same way.

They are not implying he is. Just a quote from a doc of some sort.

Its not normal behaviour though. They say suarez gets turnes on and thats why he bites.

Indeed. If you bite someone the BBC will send Jimmy Saville round to sort you out <whistle>

thats pretty nasty there but the bbc are worried suarez could escalate to rape.

i think watching criminal minds it pretty clear that we've a serial killer on our hands here, lets not get carried away with others being worse or more aggressive, dangerous or violent.

So how long a ban should he get and for which competition's?

For me, 6 months, all football. 3rs offence for someone who hasn't learned. He would be in jail in the real world for it due to repeat offences. He would be considered a danger to the public too.

Downside is you lot would get to keep him

You need a baseline to compare, what are the bans for violent conduct?

It is related when Suarez is being called the worst ever and deserves to be banned for 2 years, or 6 months, Pepe didn't get such a ban for what was clearly far far worse.

3rd offence of biting an opponent with 2 lengthy bans previously.

I'm comparing the incidents to show how worse things have happened than this bite and that people are being bias against Suarez.

Found a couple of english news portals there. Fairly neutral, to be honest, like the NYT coverage.

That's hilarious! I love it when the press attempt pop' psychology. <laugh>

No, they don't add up I'm afraid, you don't get a longer ban for kicking someone a third time. Logic fail. You should join the FA

international where the crime took place, don't care up to fifa to decide, club games, well brings me back to my point that no one answered. if he had done this in a liverpool shirt and got banned from Uruguay games how many would be arguing that's unfair on Uruguay as the crime took place whilst playing for club not country, and also we pay his wages not Uruguay.

if you think he should be banned from all games fair enough as long as there is no alterer motive :bandit: but it could open up a can of worms as far as country goes as if you have a member of your team who has lost his marbles and is unpredictable (he isnt the first and wont be the last) would the club be willing to let him go on int duty incase he does something stupid and the club get punished as well as a result?

I am not surprised you don't grasp proving comments inaccurate. You can't even follow three or 4 posts in a debate.
