Liverpool fans: Suarez is a dick, he should be punished, we agree.

    Other fans, just move on.

    No-ones defending him?

Just lol, even his Ma couldn't defend what he did as it was blatantly obvious, so you'd make yourself look total buffoons if you did.

A couple of you are however trying to dumb down the offence with all sorts of random comparisons

    Pointless lie.

All players who physically assault someone should be punished with fines and bans.
Incidents with more severe consequences, or the potential for more severe consequences, should be treated more severely.
Punishments should increase with repeat offences.

So Suarez should be fined and banned, and the ban should be larger than a first offence.

It's not difficult and if you don't agree with this you are the one with the agenda not me.

    #butyourstilldefendinghimomgoneoneone

<laugh> Tobes and UiR having quite a #meltdown that no LFC fans are actually defending Suarez so they can attack them

Maybe, point stands though, players don't get charged for criminal offences during a game of football, how Ben Thatcher was not arrested on the spot.. he did it right in front of police too.

no, one only has to look at anything I ave posted since last night, ridicule of Suarez.

I REPLIED to a comment that he was the worst ever, and you keep avoiding that little fact, context is everything and now you are just making up stuff to back your failed argument Tobes.

Saying what he did is not as bad as knocking someone out cold or ending a career, is accurate, not watering anything down. Can you deny that?

Ferguson was arrested and jailed, for an incident that the referee awarded nothing for

And that is right, I was amazed Thatcher got aay with what he did, some consistency would be nice, either they are criminal offences or they are not. In that case anything like that including biting should be prosecuted

Losing your temper and lashing out is one thing but players who maliciously go in to crock someone like Thatcher, Keane should face criminal charges

It's a hard line to draw, but any assault that is not part of challenging for the ball is a crime really. Keane and Thatcher though, two of the most shocking things I have ever seen during a game.

What argument? I never made an argument, aside from saying that bringing race into it was ****ing pathetic

I never said he was the worst ever either, just that he's up there with the worst of them - which he is.

By saying it's not as bad as X, Y or Z you're trying to contextualise something that has no comparison. What he did just doesn't happen on the pitch and he's now done it 3 times. I can't think of 3 other similar incidents in the entire 35 years I've been watching the game ffs.

never has happened before has it? should and will are two different things.

FA alone would argue allowing keane for example to be interviewed for assault would drive game nuts and insurance would be impossible just for an example. sunday league would be closed in effect as we've all seen a good brawl in our time

how many stamps have we seen on players for example, leaving much deeper marks eh? not assualt as its on pitch. someone does it off pitch... then its for the police.

oh and he didn't lash out imo.. imo suarez looked for the guy then instead of avoiding him went right after him. it was premeditated

You started banging on about race and are clainging I am trying to water stuff down, that argument.

That was my first post since last night that wasn't a piss take of Suarez, because Drogs was completely wrong and you jumped all over that **** <laugh> Let it go lad, we are all in agreement here, honestly.

How many years is Marchisio going to be banned for after deliberately trying to snap Arevalo's leg?

not as bad as what Suarez did<whistle> Skin marks are obviously worst than a snapped leg.

Aguero on Sideshow bob, now there is a stupid thing to do, jumping, or trying to, on a player 2 footed.
