Me neither, I just hadn't used that smiley before and thought it would make a change from just saying hello.

was for converse yeah. they got a shed load of free converse for it too. got a nice pay for it n all. converse do that banner thing every few years i think (seen like Karen O and Billie Joe do it in the past. and like the strokes) get a few big names to do a song and then some up and coming bands and then plaster it in shoe shops and the like, a technique just to like show they're still 'in with the crowd' i think haha

erm, the band are kinda semi managed by a couple of the Kaiser Chiefs boys. The Kaiser drummer and bass player set up a label called Chewing Gum Records and they've released two of their singles off it. so they set them up with the converse deal i think. got Steve Lamacq sniffing round them too, he's been kinda bigging them up for a couple of years. looking to get signed to either rough trade or transgressive records. all up in the air at the minute though, kinda at that stage where they could either hit or flop.
hopefully they'll make it big then take our band with them :bandit: haha

    bastards, they've been so lucky

What's the Diego Forlan thread all about? Cant be bothered trolling through it all. I dont post here that often, but I do prefer the evenings to the daytime....i find it really tedious during the day.
