  2. That's exactly what he did <laugh> The ball was thirty or forty yards away and he flung a elbow at a passing player!

Barton had been sent off and there was a good minute between that and the first of three instances. However, three very aggressive instances and he got the equivalent ban as Suarez for a solitary bite? Do you not think that is a joke?

They cashed in on him when he wanted to leave. They were sad to see him go.

Rumours of a 24game ban from Fifa, lovely. Let's hope the FA slap a year on as well for domestic games.

The Italians were trying to be provocative all match as illustrated with the sending-off. I think we are in danger of blowing the Suraez "bite" out of all proportion as it happened so quickly and Chiellini making the most of it!!!

Would be great for Liverpool! ;)

Plus- he does deserve at least a year!

Why? The FA don't run the world cup, silly, FIFA do! I'm sure the FA will give him a mega-punishment next time he slips up in England though.

On what grounds? Not a FA game. Unless you want the FA to be paying Liverpool huge sums of money for illegal actions. Fifa are the only ones with any power here.

Hero to Ajax fans, hero to lfc, hero to uraguay... All 3 sets of fans now have a bite in common.

    The mad nutcase

I condemn his snacking utterly and wonder how lucky evra feels...

No chance of anyone calming down. He should have known that doing this again for the 3rd time would be big news. I think he knew that and he regretted it. At the end of the match he appeared very sad.

Notice how he wouldn't bit Evra though? Only bites white people.
