No axe to grind with Liverpool, but I do think the only way to punish the individual is to stop him from playing football-wherever. Having done this twice leaves him without a (sane) defence really.

Personally I think the Premier would be a lesser place for it-but he has to learn.....anyway, I thought he wNted to to Spain? Let him!!

What about one of those plastic dog-cones from the vet's? He could still play football, albeit his heading ability would be impaired, and other players wouldn't have to look over their shoulders all game!

Can they actually ban him from domestic football too? That will be disaster if that happens. Seems unfair on the club.

It was a stupid thing to do, we all know that. But if you support him after he's done it twice why would once more make any difference? We already know Suarez is a ****ing lunatic on the pitch, this bite has taught us nothing new and he's not done something totally new and shocking. It's just typical Suarez.

I'd say yes but I'm just really pissed atm, he's obviously a quality player and he'll be a massive loss to us if he is banned from all football.

However if a good offer come in from Barcelona I would definitely consider it (not that it matters what I think!)

The pundits on rte were handed a dossier/script whatever with the offence and punishment. Repeat offence can lead to a maximum 2 year ban from all football.

It doesnt mean hell get 2 or all football ban but its in fifas power

On one hand I agree, on the other hand, it would be unfair to Liverpool and Rodgers to be punished for something he did wearing someone else's shirt under someone else's management and instruction. He's been much better behaved for us this season- and then whamo- he does this awful thing for country.

Suarez should definitely be punished- massively. A year out of internationals for a start. A huge fine for a second. He should only be banned from Premier League if he bites again in the Premier League... and I would agree- if he bites again for Liverpool he should receive one really hefty PL ban.
