bored at the mo. one of my housemates has ****ed off to glasto and the other has ****ed off to be a hippy and dance in a field with his parents for the evening so im stuck in on me bill avoiding watching u2 at glasto (i mean...really )


anyone off to any festivals this year? might be off leeds meself.. strokes and pulp man!

 

Just the three of them dancing to no music in some field somewhere?

And, I was supposed to be going to Leeds this year, but looks like im going tobe selling my ticket. Got a new job down in the Smoke....so dont think i'll be able to make it.

 

well. his little brother. and some more of his family. and some other hippies. i'm not entirely quite sure what it is if i'm honest (neither did he i don't think)
he's gone to grindleford in derbyshire (i think). i dunno haha.

sweet! off with my girlfriend i think. all my mates are skint so ya know (one's spent up on glasto. the others in a shed load of debt. the rest live back home and i have no idea...)


saturday line up is rather disappointing (mcr, 30 seconds to mars.. not for me =/) but strokes/pulp should be good! looking forward to seeing smaller bands like Yuck and Warpaint too.

 

Haha, I know a guy who was raised by gypsy/hippies who just constantly travelled between music festivals around europe. Still does it now with his kid. He has no education whatsoever and it shows but he's easily the best juggler I've ever seen; starts off with 3 or 4 juggling balls and by the end of it is also juggling lemons, apples and is peeling a banana and eating it while juggling everything. Mental indeed!

 

Only a few bands really stuck out for me tbh...Naked & Famous, Vaccines, Pulp and The Horrors (their new single 'Still Life' is incredible btw)

 

Another band I hate right there, the joy.

 

Tbf...Hot Fuss isnt a terrible album. Other than that, they're crap. Brandon Flowers is an awful twat too.

 

What more does one need in life?

 

hahaha. they're not really a proper hippy family. like his dad was when he was younger. not like gypsy hippies. but they still go camping all the time and go to hippie folk festivals and the like.

wish i could juggle though! always been awful at it haha. doubt i could do that AND peel a banana! ha


on a side note, euromillions. i'll soon be 105 million pound better off. of which i will use to personally hijack the gervinho bid and fund it myself
