He did well, great movement, hell of a grafter and the media have completely failed to pick up on the fact he only played up front twice the whole season. He played most the season at inside left. It's a good return of goals and assists playing in that position in his first fully fit premiership season playing for a club who was rarely out the bottom three all season. Big game player too.
Maybe he just shines at a slightly lower level thqn is needed when pushing near the top. Can see him heading out on loan.
Well, just one at the moment....The one who he went on loan to. Even then who would waste good money on him?
Each time he has played against Everton. I believe he played in his first season at Anfield (not a memorable performance) His highlight was a headed clearance of his own goal line at Goodison. But as a striker playing against 10 men he hardly shone at the right end. then his poor showing again in front of gaol after being setup by Baines at the SOL.
So 3 games? You've started a thread of judgement with your 3 games of knowledge? Alright fella. Whatever you say
Three games was more than enough to see he is nothing special! He is being talked up in RS circles as they think that there is a chance they can make a transfer profit from him.
He's a cracking player fella, big game player who's delivered whilst being played out of position, he's only 23 anarl. They'll sell for their money back no doubt.
sunderland will and prove you wrong, he is a good player and proved he can score goals in the PL while playing out wide not through the middle and when he did against city in the league cup final he scored straight away, he would be an assest in any team and maybe in the future a leadinging pl striker he would be in most teams now but for liverpool id say imho hes 3rd or 4th depending on the type of game and how you want to change it as hes just as good as lambert
