Dons boss Derek McInnes's attempt to sign Kris Boyd is doomed as the player is set to drop down a division in Scotland. McInnes had been hopeful of luring the former Scotland striker to Pittodrie this summer, and has held talks with the 30-year-old. But Boyd is putting the final touches to a deal taking him down to the Championship to join Scotland's newest club, financially stricken The Rangers, for the first time. “I was aware of Rangers' interest last week, and if Rangers make Kris Boyd an offer, I think financially it would beat our offer,” McInnes told Sky Sports News. “We did declare an interest in him. We spoke to him but we’ve still got other options to look at." http://www.aberdeen-mad.co.uk/news/...boyd_chooses_championship_835209/index.shtml
On the contrary. It tells us that the sheep are hurting badly because the leading goalscorer in SPL history has snubbed them and decided to join Scotland's biggest and most successful club - the world famous Glasgow Rangers.....
Rangers still not signed Boyd yet? Don't think they have any intensions, only a ploy to get the fans on side and sell more season tickets. Aberdeen should pull the plug and tell him to get to ****.
According to Phil Macnofkdsnosdn he's been offered a take-it-or-leave-it £110k per year deal. Boydie thinks he's worth more. So if he does sign it will be for the love of the Rangers (boak) rather than the money.

They were just Bosman transplants. The transplanted follicles will show no loyalty to their new scalps and ask for a move to Wayne Rooney by Xmas. Mark my words Dev.
