Patience dear boy. The thread goes up and then you have to do the polling options afterwards.

    Well done mate.

I'm not sure about this Rio thing. I think there's more to this than meets the eye. A few questions...
Why is no one else interested in him? Why does he want to come to us?

I fear this move is about marketing above anything else. I think it's been driven by Nike....

I voted no as I would prefer we avoided this signing but as I stated in the Rio thread I will support him while donning the hoops. I also hope my doubts are proven wrong if this becomes official and he plays a blinder for us.

So he is not playing for money!

OK .....undecided as yet on this
If we get Cauker, why do we need Rio....we have an old head or two in the back row
If we don't get Cauker, I would want Rio, He could stabilise things at the back...so want to wait and see.

In principle I do not think he is that bad a buy (at his peak he was exceptionally good, and badly hampered by injury last year) , just unsure and a bit worried it may be like the last time when ...Get ourselves a good oldish established goalie (green) , and then get ourselves another one even more good oldish and established (Cesar)...not sensible

This time Offer contracts to Dunne and Hill, with Ned already there...then get Rio and Caulker and Vlaar too.
    Paper talk I know....

I think JB might have a thing or two to say about that too! Might need a few hours overtime from Steve Black.

Voted yes because I feel that there is more to this than just signing a player. Maybe he and QPR are looking at him taking over a playing/coaching role. Maybe he is being pruned to take over from HR after this season. Maybe Hill and Dunne are judged to be not good enough for the PL. Maybe...

If it's only a 1 year contract, then I've no problem with it.

Voted Yes as I have a good feeling about this signing.

Probably should gone for the third option, not sure yet. It will only be a good signing if they get the rest of the transfer window right.

Its a no from me. A 1 year deal is worthless to us. We will gain little other than a 35 year old defender who has started to decline and pick up injuries

I think the deal is a fait accompli, so don't know how to vote, really.
