I was thinking of going to one of the sensatori resorts for honeymoon, but decided against it. Think there is one in Crete but might be a bit above your £1500.

I was in Kos at the end of April beginning of May. Beautiful wee island. I was at a part called Kefalos, there's a busy bit but I was nearer the quieter part. Beautiful place with lovely people.

Bealy's Crete is a great shout. I was there a good few years ago. Probably changed now, but it was a real family feel part I went to. Great food, very reasonably priced.

Canny go wrong with one of the Greek Islands imo
