Stick a quote in then fella, nobody likes the boy who wanders past with his head down and whispers '****er'.

I'll stop saying 'cats' for your benefit, but will still refer to your fanbase and team as Black Cats from time to time, just to throw you a curveball. ;)

Not played many football managers but the last one I did play featured a Northampton striker who was red hot by the name of Justin Georcelin, bagged loads of goals and cost nowt. I don't think there's a bigger fall from grace FM to reality than this guy, if there is please make your contribution...

    The FAST SHOW???

You Sir, are no longer qualified to assert what is or is not deemed cool around here any more!

Edit: Unless you were using it as an 'uncool' reference... I didn't watch the clip, nor will I. In that case... carry on setting the standards :)

    Great, sharp headline like.

Maradona liked a sniff, and he did alright, clearly the lad just wasn't Maradona... That's where he went wrong. He needed to 'be more Diego'.

Justin is a girls name, spelled wrong.

Yeah, you really need the talent to fund the habit as well, clearly Justin was in a bit of bother from the offset. Trying to fleece taxi drivers for a few quid to buy a wrap of base when a couple of seasons earlier he was knocking Champions League Final goals in for Ipswich Town.

It'd be 55 minutes of how we all love Gazza and hope he gets better soon and 5 minutes at the end of 'other miscellaneous footballers' who have hit the rocks.

There must be others who have gone wild on a bigger scale, Nile Ranger looks a dead cert for doing bird. Thomas Brolin's a poker player nowadays, heavy looking bastard man, he wasn't slim in his 'footballer' days.

Brolin always reminded me of a kid at chool who was bang into science and ****, crossed with a failed Hollywood child actor.

I guess he reminds Leeds fans of a heavy Sunday morning ****.

Johnson as TBE says is a good one, he had that one season where we thought 'hello'.

Then he was ****ed, forever. Not in a good way.

Yeah, Brolin was a funny one.

Michael Johnson as well man, yeah he looked the bollocks at one point. I'm fairly certain I have to step over his sleeping, piss-drenched body outside the NCP by my gym every morning.

While you're here Nads, what's your opinion on Ander Herrera? Supposedly becoming a United player today, seems good by all accounts but looks a bit lightweight to me. We're lacking a bit of muscle in midfield especially since Fellaini's doing his very own Thomas Brolin impression for us!

Herrera is a very, very good technical player, he's quite the Xavi sort in that he doesn't really do anything that is gonna take your breath away, he just effotlessly collects and uses the ball.

He supports the attack well, and he links front and back superbly, it's a very smart signing IMO. He was a far more offensive player at Zaragoza, but that may just have been trying to carry a shocking team, who were relegated, and he left.

He's not the biggest, but I've not seen him bullied in many games, he was fantastic last season in a superb Bilbao side, he looks like an alternative to the far inferior and vastly overrated Strootman, he's got a better range of passing, maybe offers less defensively.

    Very, very good buy.

Sounds very promising pal, thanks. Hopefully he'll link up well with Mata and Januzaj.

Got a lot of work to do has LVG, with tonnes needed shipping out as well. Good to see he's starting early!

Not as big a fall from Grace - but Joby McAnuff - signed him from Palce as a 16 year old and he ended ujp captaining England and playing as an attacking midfielder also captaining Barcelona (I sold him for 62m)... Still a decent ish player at championship level but not quite as good as FM made him out to be!

    haha

It did throw up some mad ones now and again, Fabian Brandy was one from United who turned into a world class striker, he's at Walsall now with about 10 career goals to his name so far!
