    According to Cadena Ser, a spanish radio station, they say we've signed him and will be made public in a couple of hours time.

    Cadena ser are a reliable Spanish radio station, they called Fabregas to Chelsea before anyone else.

    from the BBC, United tried to sign him last summer but:

    It is not anticipated United will encounter any of the struggles that scuppered their previous attempt to sign the player, which included three imposters turning up at Spanish League headquarters supposedly to push through the transfer without the knowledge of either club.

    Glad we seem to be getting this done. Decent player, decent price.

    One more CM, or even wait till January for Strootman, Shaw and a centre half and we're up and running.

    I'd just as soon we got the second CM now though.

    Strootman is ours. Think thats a given.

    I would like a 3rd though, might as well over stock the midfield after years of no midfield. Vidal would be brilliant.

    Vidal, Herrera and Strootman. Quite the step up. Even just the latter 2 would be impressive.

    Barcelona were interested in this lad too. Quite the coup if weve pipped a spanish giant to one of the highest rated spannish midfielders around.
