Me personally i have no clue of how well arsenal will do next season what i can guarantee is that we will make top four at least alongside United,Chelsea and City as i see united stepping up with Van Gaal and i see liverpool dropping out of the top four as there thin squad will be exposed next season with champions league football.

Although i do see this as a season in which arsenal can finally turn up and do well as last season although we finished fourth it was probably our best season for a while. with sagna being the only departure Ozil gelling and the confidence the players will have got after winning a trophy together will be invaluable.

So guys what do you think we will get next season as i am completely unsure we could very well end up 4th with no trophy or even win the league with a champions league trophy to.

I think it all depends on whether we get a top quality striker and whether our players can stay fit and injury free. If we can manage that, then I think we're in with a shout for the title.

We mounted a good challenge last season, but what cost us was injuries to key players, Ramsey, Theo and Ozil at a crucial time of the season. This also affected Giroud's goal scoring as he relied on those players around him. That coupled with the fact that Giroud wasn't clinical enough for those 'one opportunity to win the game' moments and it ended up costing us crucial points.

Other than that, the team looked really good last season and as mentioned, if we can augment it with a clinical striker and a bit more depth in some key positions, then we will be title contenders.

The there is of course the small matter of the other teams .... Utd will undoubtedly improve, Chelsea will strengthen and City have the luxury of world class players in every position. I think Liverpool will find it difficult to replicate the form from last season, and if Suarez does go then I think they'll be back down there battling it out with the Spuds.

So, taking a punt I'll say Arsenal will finish 3rd

5th, or 6th if Spurs get their act together.

Chelsea will win the league comfortably, Citeh will finish second, and Liverpool and ManUre will fight over 3rd and 4th.

As a Red Manc I see you finishing anywhere from 4th to second. I obviously think/want/hope we will get in the top four and see this season`s guest team (mousers) being the one`s to drop out. City are my bet to win it again at the moment but that may change come August.

EDIT I could see you with a good chance of winning it if you can keep Theo and Ramsey fit all season and add another 20+ goal striker to help Giroud.

    4th.

Going to take serious investment to get passed Mourinho's Chelsea.

City will be strong as ever and United will be like their old selves under Van Gaal.

We need a World Class forward, defensive midfielder and rightback to maintain a challenge. We also need a back up keeper and defensive cover.
Wenger probably doesn't have it in him to make these additions for that reason I think we will just scrape 4th again ahead of Liverpool.

Chelsea are better than us, Citeh are better than us, Loserpool are better than us, and United under Van Gaal will be better than us. It's simple mathematics. there are 4 better teams than us, so we're going to finish 5th <ok>

Did you copy and paste this statement from the beginning of last season. Oh wait you said Spurs would humiliate us and we'd be mid table <laugh>
You've been regurgitating that media BS of how we're going to drop out of Top 4 huh? Its a broken record. You'd do well to learn that.

And when we do finally drop out of the top 4, i expect an apology along the lines of "Sorry Kyle, you were right all along, as usual."

Am i the only person who would like to see Vermaelen played in CDM. I think he would be awesome there and we could then offer him the playing time he requires/wants.

It all depends on two things, can we keep our key players like Walcott fit for most of the season, and will we get some top reinforcements in. I'm not so worried about our key man Ramsey, as he doesn't appear to be that injury prone, but Walcott, OXO and Wilshere are real worries. For me Walcott is the key man that we must keep fit. We missed him massively last season and his goals and assists would have got us 3rd or even 2nd. But more importantly, we need to get a top striker, a real game changer, someone who can do that something special when we're struggling. All the top teams seem to have that apart from us.

Until the transfer season is over will I be able to make a more informed decision.

I actually think Kyle has a point.

Except I see Liverpool falling off the pace a little next Season so I think we will finish 4th.

As it currently stands Chelsea and City have MUCH better squads than us.

It will be even more competitive this coming season as Chelsea, Man City and Man U will all be stronger. Liverpool is still an unknown quantity as it's their first top 4 finish under Brendan. Will they strengthen, lose Suarez or have another good season? That's why it's imperative that we strengthen, otherwise we'll be up against it. Great for neutrals too.

Not really been given much cause for optimism yet have we?
First choice RB has gone, backup GK has gone, noises about Cazorla & Vermaelen wanting to leave, after a title challenge that faltered due to a lack of squad depth. Not exactly confidence inspiring!!
The only good thing to happen this summer has been Joel Campbell.

This is all pointless until we see where everyone is at the end of the transfer window. Liverpool have to contend with their yearly Suarez debacle and, should they lose him, will be in a very different position. They may well sell and get loads of cash but can they use it in time? Will it be money well spent? Will the players gel *cough* Spurs *cough*?

Likewise there's nothing to say Chelsea's additions will work and who knows what we'll do. We may buy brilliantly....chortle. I see a lot of people saying United will comfortably be top 3 again but I don't know how. They've an aging squad so Van Gaal will have to make a huge amount of changes and there's no guarantee it will work immediately.

For me, the most settled team is Citeh and I find that extremely ominous!
