That gamble on Genex was about as misplaced as you could get, that race was really not strong and the horse was beat a furlong out. I do wonder if some of these gambles are bookie created to get punters to just follow or that the bookies are so scared that they cut anything with a coup profile so sharply when actually it was just a couple of people in the yard fancying the horse and putting £200 ew on early.
GENAX was going so slowly he was getting in the way of the stragglers. I fear the gamble was deliberately publicised well in advance the night before as you say.
20.10 Windsor- Nova Champ- 12/1 ew Conditions suit and step down in trip will be in his favour won a decent handicap race over this distance and has since contested some hot races and this looks a lot easier.
I liked the look of this one too Wooly but just can't bring myself to back Jamie Spencer under any circumstance so gone for Fiftyshadesofgrey at 14s, am hoping the better ground will suit
Not put up I am afraid Heiss, just a trip down memory lane due to noticing the name. The horse won well actually as the second was well fancied and backed and the third looked useful as well. I can see both of them winning next time in a similar grade.
Well done Wooly. Mine just not good enough! Enough were having a go at getting me bit, says it all I guess. Cheerio for now fellas!
We who follow Stickwise are wise enough to know that you can't win em all, or the game would be easy, I wouldn't take things to personally, others can write what they like, it's up to us whether or not we take it on board. Had an E/W saver on Wooly's Selection, so made a tidy profit on the race Stay Lucky
Prices are irrelevant when you get that many up mate it takes some doing. I've lost count of the amount of times I've done footy accas that I think are bankers and been let down by 1/5 on shot or somat similar!
