Aberdeen FC are set to make two big announcements on Monday 2nd June 2014: We will be revealing our Season 2014/15 home kit and our new Club Sponsor!

The AFC Club Shop will be open from 11am on Monday 2nd June, giving our supporters the opportunity to show their #donsfamily colours by purchasing the new home kit, in both adult sizes and kids mini-kits.

The kit will also be available online at www.afc.co.uk/shop where you can also check out our other Aberdeen FC merchandise 24/7.

Keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages for a sneak peak of the new home kit later in the day...

Home kit expected to look something like this, with the new sponser (Saltire Energy)

Prefer it in the darker red myself.

Delighted with this. He was fantastic.

Just wish we could get Hector back as well.

Wont be seeing Hector back any time soon now, Aberdeen have signed 23 year old former Wales under 21 international Ash Taylor from Tranmere Rovers.Taylor comes in as a natural centre half but can also play at right back.

Also signing on a pre contract agreement today is 29 year old Cheltenham goalkeeper Scott Brown.

Don't really know much about either of these guys but if they turn out to be anything like our other permanent signing Shaylem Logan they should do ok, would really like to see a goalkeeper that can come in and challenge for the number one jersey.

Couple more signings to come, hopefully a natural left back & a decent midfield playmaker.

Onwards and upwards. COYR

As much as i would like to see this i just don't see it happening, Derek McIness never plays two strikers and i can't see where he would fit in with Rooney & Mcginn.

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...r-news/dundee-united-enter-race-sign-3642908

DUNDEE UNITED have joined the race to land striker Kris Boyd.

But they could face stiff competition from Aberdeen for the free agent frontman.

Tannadice boss Jackie McNamara has had informal talks with the 30-year-old, hoping to persuade him to be the spearhead for his cavalier kids next season.

And it’s understood he believes Boyd’s growing reputation as a coach and mentor would be a massive boost on the park for his young side.

Chairman Stephen Thompson is on standby to tie up a deal – despite being on holiday in Australia.

However, there is still serious interest in the Scotland striker from Aberdeen and Rangers.

Calvin Zola has left the building.Derek Mcinnes has made a great start at the Dons, but one of his biggest mistakes was the signing of of this big lump of wood.
Three strikers has now left during the close season (Magennis,Vernon & Zola) is this the door opening for Big Boyd? Not sure if he can make a big impact with McGinn & Rooney playing as Mcinnes likes to play with just one up top.

That terrible recent record suggests that Aberdeen will get royally pumped. Would have had a better chance against a form team.

The Aberdeen way.

I still have nightmares about Skonto Riga back in 1994 when we had a really good team <laugh>

And let's face it no Scottish team should take anyone lightly.

Celtic are the only club that have done anything of note recently.

I agree we will get papped out especially with the run of form they are on.

Aberdeen will get through this one but next round it's gronigen...

Excellent run out for the team last night against a team of hammer throwers. The whole team put in a great performance but will have to up it a wee bit in the next round against Groningen. Man of match for me had to be Shallem Logan closely followed by Jonny Hayes who both scored good goals playing from full back positions, also good to see the two strikers getting among the goals ( Adam Rooney x2 & Niall McGinn x1). All in all a good start to the season and hope Peter Pawlets injury is not to bad.

5 - 0 the dons COYR.

Logans goal from last night, not very good quality but love the celebration.

After the controversial signing of David Goodwillie this week, Aberdeen have today signed Wolves youngster 20 year old Zeli Ismail on a year long lone deal.

At 15 year old Ismail was rated highly as the next wonder kid & went on to play for England at under 16 & 17 level.

Next, bring in Graham Shinnie and be worried worried Celtic be very worried.<cool>
