Planning on taking off for a few days during what I guess is an international break 8th September. Sell Nairn up in the highlands to me.
Can't you afford to go somewhere half decent? A static in Skegness has to be better than putting yourself through such an ordeal. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes.
Just checked, hotel on beach, no cliffs hopefully will be in dependant by then, and everyone will already be so skint minions will be washing cars and carrying cases for 5p a go. I don't mind stepping over a few street urchins! #thirdworldeconomy
Nairn - decent chip shop by the harbour. Also, handy for visiting the site of the Battle of Culloden, where you can walk about loudly remarking that this is where the English finally put paid to the Scottish rebellion.
Decided 6hrs drive is too much in one go, so having a night in Pitlochry on the way up. At this rate I will have seen more of sweattieland than our plump kilted correspondent.
I don't think you'll make it that far. You won't be able to keep your mouth shut that long. Still some hospitals open that the Tories haven't managed to shut down yet, so you might survive.
If you have gone independent by then the English cash will have run out and hospitals will be something Salmond says you can't afford.
