    Head-to-head
    • Cameroon lost their first three matches against Brazil without scoring a goal, but they won the fourth - and most recent - meeting in the 2003 Confederations Cup with a Samuel Eto'o goal. Cameroon are the only African side to have beaten Brazil in a senior international match.
    • Brazil won 3-0 when they met at the 1994 World Cup.
    Cameroon
    • Cameroon have lost their last six World Cup matches - the longest ever losing streak by an African country. They have only won one of their last 15 games in the tournament (D4, L10).
    • This is the fifth successive time they have been eliminated in the group stage, and sixth occasion in seven World Cups overall.
    • The Indomitable Lions have gone 13 consecutive World Cup matches without scoring more than one goal since a 2-2 draw with Sweden in 1994. The only longer such streak in World Cup history is 18 by Uruguay, set between 1970 and 2002.
    • Cameroon failed to score in their first two group games - they have never been knocked out of a World Cup without managing a single goal.
    • Samuel Eto'o has scored Cameroon's last three World Cup goals.
    Brazil
    • This is Brazil's 100th World Cup match. They are the second team to reach the milestone - Germany did so in their opening match at this World Cup.
    • The goalless draw with Mexico last Tuesday ended a 10-match winning streak for Brazil.
    • They have not failed to score in successive World Cup matches for 40 years since losing 2-0 against the Netherlands and 1-0 against Poland in 1974.
    • Their only defeat in the last 23 games came against Switzerland last August (W17, D5, L1).
    • Brazil are now unbeaten in 39 successive matches on home soil, with their last defeat coming against Paraguay in August 2002.
    • They have lost only one of their 35 World Cup matches in the group stage since 1970 (W27, D7).
    • Brazil have only twice failed to advance from the group stage: in 1930 and 1966.

To be honest, if you need to win a game at this tournament, to go through, then a self-imploding Cameroon side would be high on the list. However, Nigeria and Ghana were poor in their first games but improved greatly in their second. Can/will the Indomitable Lions maul Brazil,I don't think it is likely; will Fred ever look like scoring, who knows. Brazil to win at a canter, may watch Croatia v Mexico.

The music journo, Simon Price, just called him Neymahl due to the hair, which will amuse fans (?) of Kajagoogoo.

By my calculations, if they lose and the other game is a draw it goes down to GD between 2nd and 3rd.

Neymar is a great player. Brazil would be struggling to win a game without him.

Yeah but Brazil and Croatia would have 4 points each, Mexico 5, and as Croatia and Brazil had the same GD going into the game, a Brazil loss would put them behind Croatia.
