I want Martinez for England. Accomplishes two important tasks. 1) Gives England a really fantastic manager who plays attractive football. 2) Denies Everton a really fantastic manager.
Long gone are the days when only 'Second Rate' footballing nations employed foreign coaches! The bloody scandal in our case is that we only have 2,500 UEFA Qualified Coaches in this country compared to a smaller country like Holland who have 20,000! The FA have done FA!
I do think the rules in england could do with a change. I remember when david platt tired to take a break form corrie to manage sampdoria and was banned by Italian FA for not having the required qualifications. It says it all when anyone... literally ANYONE can be made a manager in england.
