    Sounds interesting.
Catholicism was originally set up as the worlds first, largest and most successful *****phile ring. Heck they still operate to this day.

    You dont need one.
But to install an organisation, with parental approval, and parental funding, of old men who wish to spend all their time alone with small children, not ever to marry, makes things easier for them doesnt it?
And the parents are placated by the rhetoric BS of the priests, so less questions are asked. <ok>
Its almost perfect for them isnt it, the parents pay them to abuse their children and then make them feel better about their horrid lives by implanting notions in their head of an eternal paradise. It would be almost beautiful if it wasn't you know....disgusting and inhumane.

Not quite sure what you are saying, I know these animals existed prior their creation of Catholicism, The Catholic church wasnt the beginning of *****philia, but it was created as a sort of club house for them , funded by the public.
Its been publicly funded since the idea was shat out by Ignatius Theophorus and his brethren back in the day.
Catholicism wasnt really around until 200 AD anyway. There were mentions of Christianity prior to that, but Catholicism as it is today, started about 200 years after.

all i'm saying is you said the catholic Church was originally set up as a peado ring.

its very clear it was not. It was the one that gain dominance out ofthe many chruches that sprang up out ofhte eachings of jesus . some guys wandered out in the desert some went to greece, and so forth. to say its about peadophilia is just plain nuts given the honest to god truth that anyone wanting back then to bugger kids could do so without any need for an organisatino to "cover it up"

Indeed the fact is priests were married and popes passed their power down their own lineage on many occasions. the catholic church was 1000 years old before celebacy was really enforced!

The first written mandate requiring priests to be chaste came in AD 304. Canon 33 of the Council of Elvira stated that all "bishops, presbyters, and deacons and all other clerics" were to "abstain completely from their wives and not to have children." A short time later, in 325, the Council of Nicea, convened by Constantine, rejected a ban on priests marrying requested by Spanish clerics. However the practice of priestly celibacy began to spread in the Western Church in the early Middle Ages. In the early 11th century Pope Benedict VIII responded to the decline in priestly morality by issuing a rule prohibiting the children of priests from inheriting property. A few decades later Pope Gregory VII issued a decree against clerical marriages.

In other words it was kingly power not peadophilia that created schisms and the wars between the holy roman empire and other kingdoms (indidentally including the vatican decreeing that all dutch people should be put to death for turning protestant)

I think today's issues should stay today's issues and not be lessened in severity by linking to the past in an untenous way.

todays issues are all about collusion, cover up and the convenient disposition of second sons and undesirables into a calling that then placed vulnerable children in harms way. None of thsoe get fixed by saying the first people setting up the catholic church raped kids.

People didnt NEED the Catholic church to "bugger kids", no. I never once said that. What the Catholic church offered these people was a chance to do it AND be funded by the very people on which you are perpetrating the crime.
And it doesnt really matter whether priests were banned from marriage or not in the beginning, do you think a child is safe from a *****phile because the ***** is married?
In fact I would go so far as to say most of these animal ARE married.

To reiterate, the organisation wasn't created to "cover it up", it was so they could do it AND get paid <ok>

Was contemplating giving it a look, but the last time HBO released something of this ilk we got Sex and the City, so was highly dubious. Is this different?

i simpy put it that way as thats what i considered as infered by peado ring.

I'm merely saying the start up and originally are duifferent than today... there is no way it was set up to be a peado ring day one or even day 1001.
