Fools on twitter will be claiming every know conspiracy known to man. That's what twitter is for isn't it?
Its a question that needs to be asked. It's the reasoning the divides people. And I wouldn't ask Crofty, he's 50% wum and 50% makes it up. please log in to view this image

Drivers Championship Constructors' championship

1 Nico Rosberg 165 1. I honestly think most people who watch F1 just see it as a ****ing soap. Fanboys worse than football fans. Rosberg has drove some very smart races and has got Lewis thinking a little bit. I've no doubt who the quickest driver over one lap and undoubtedly Hamilton has been unlucky. But its not the pitstops lol!
Well... Williams really threw that one away. Just not used to racing at the sharp-end any longer I guess. Still, It's nice the see them back up there!
You get that when Rosberg has a bad stop too. Even see it on here with the occasional bafoon that pops in with a "Mercedes purposefully sabotaging Rosberg" type comment. If they were really trying to sabotage a driver in favor of another, they'd do it with more than the odd lost second here and there that can quickly be gained back.
In reality, did it? He was fighting at the front almost immediately. Rosberg cost him the win.. he just got beat. That's racing. Wish these Mercs weren't having to do so much nursing recently though. If they're out front together it's nice to actually see them trade blows.
So.... Red Bull... What on earth are they playing at? They' were just an absolute disaster, and in there own back yard. I heard it mentioned during the race that Helmut has told Vettel to "up his game"... Seriously??? Are they having a laugh or what? I bet Vettel is fuming!
I think running behind those car for so long helped to take a lot out of Hamilton's chase... Do you realize that when he. Went for the second stop his car almost looked like it was on fire? There was so much some coming from the back of that car... Rosberg had a good run in clear air so I guess that was enough too to keep him up there. But I suspect Hamilton's car was a little faster but every time he got within striking distance he drooped back and then tried again as the team was telling him to cool the car a bit. All in all fair play to both sides of the garage. Hamilton has to work on his qualifying and also maybe and I say maybe his positioning for his pitstops. Two seconds to lose in two pitstops is plenty in such a close race. Especially when he lost by 1.9 secs. So he need to work on that too. It was also good to see him not make excuses or blame anyone for losing the race.
It was just rubber in the duct that was burning, not the actual brakes, so I don't think that was too much to be concerned about. As for the two slow stops... I'm not sure it made much difference to him. He was always able to pull that back, just not then able to get close enough to pass. Those lost two seconds don't really equate to a lost win.
With the amount of "luck" Vettel has had this year it wont surprise me if he has already decided to leave RBR. Daniel has had nothing wrong with his car all year, yup we all know who the testing goat is like Hamilton was in 2012... How many critical failures has Vettel had now... 6? (Australia x2, Spain x2 Monaco x1, Austria x1) with only 8 races gone mind you.
I honestly can't believe Vettel's luck this year... It's truly appalling. And if he was told to up his game by Helmut, I hope he told the berk to get bent!
No, but maybe he could have jumped him on the second stop or might have been much closer to force an error...? Maybe?
It's all ifs, buts and maybes. It was a good recovery drive from Hamilton, and second today was a good result imo.
Enjoyed the race, good recovery from Hamilton and a congratulations to Williams for the podium, horrible luck for Vettel yet again. What I didn't like however was the Sky coverage. It's getting almost unbearable. Lazenby, Herbert, Pinkham and Croft are getting worse to watch and listen to each race weekend. The 4 of them are useless and bring no value to the Sky team at all, as for these Mark Hughes pointers, what is the point of them seriously?
