No problem Stick, just one of those things. The jockey put me off at first anyway. Nice price of 9/1 though.
How often does a JP horse drift from 9/2 out to 9/1 and win. I think they thought the "other" one would beat him but he didn't jump well enough.
Sohcahtoa - what a downward spiral that horse had been on. He went from finishing third in the Kempton Kentucky Derby trial (remember that) in which he finished a place ahead of Mastery the St Leger winner, and now he wins a handicap hurdle at Hexham off 77!!! Same could almost be said for Thimaar too, who looked a very promising flat horse, but he clearly doesn't know how to hurdle!
Cezanne and Macarthur were bigger flops who ended up over timber. The former was G1 winner on the level and the latter won the Hardwick and actually ran down the field at Gods own racecourse in the last fortnight. Anymore for anymore?
