I need to go against the top lads today and stick with As I Am, still looks like she is improving and is only up 3lbs for the latest win. is 3/4 at the track and the 1 eyed mare should go close once again.
TABLE BLUFF in the 4:20 mate. I am having a monster punt on one at Windsor tomorrow though so make sure you have some sponds in the gambling account!
Actually though, anyone is free to put up a Daily Thread any time, but given that they don't always go up the night before racing, attivo volunteered to start one early everyday.
That really does look a good price but just watch England really perform now there is nothing to play for huh?!?! Watching the footage of the England training camp yesterday they looked very sorry for themselves and looked like they just couldn't wait for the plane home. 7/2 you say!
Just a point on that bet though Rudey.....Costa Rica do not need a win.....a draw and they win the group. You will see a fair amount of experimentation and resting in the final group games. Holl v Chile being one of the most interesting!
I had a dreadful Royal Ascot. I picked a load of short-priced favourites that won but did not have a penny on any of them. The three I did back at decent prices, Hot Streak, Barley Mow and Lightning Thunder did not oblige for various reasons. I had three picked out for Pontefract and their odds in the Racing Post all looked good, but Hit The Jackpot in the 3:10 is too short, Waila in the 3:40 is too short whilst Thurayaat in the 4:40 might actually be a backable price. Should I just give it a miss and write the whole week off?
Ran well for a long way still looked to be in with a chance 3 from home then just didn't go with them, suppose that's to be expected at them odds
Vulcanite seems to have fallen back in love with the game. Lovely ride by Ger Fox who came over from Ireland for the ride. Top, top young claimer for those who aren't familiar with him.
Bobowen's a bridle horse. Swinging over the whole field 3 out. Found nothing. Unlucky those put off the winner.
The writing was on the wall from a long way out, he absolutely cruised through the race and actually won a shade cosily. Longsdon did say on his website today that he fancied his chance but no way could I see him winning off that mark!
