4 Meetings today, Flat racing from Pontefract and Gowran Park(IRE), Summer Jumping from Hexham and Worcester Pontefract 7 Races 2:10-5:10p.m. Gowran Park(IRE) 7 Races 2:15-5:15p.m. Worcester National Hunt 7 Races 2:20-5:20p.m. Hexhan National Hunt 8 Races 2:30-6:00p.m. Good Luck
PLAYHARA 4.30 Hexham 3/1 in a rich vein of form and beat a very nice horse a shade comfortably last time, the winning run can continue!
BOBOWEN 4.50 Worcester 10/1 back down to a workable mark and back on a sound surface. Yard in rude health so should not go unbacked.
Got a real good chance that stick but I have to go against it , With as usual a rank outsiderand elder of the field who incidently runs for William Young junior yet to see a win from his string . However he has managed a few places ! Mr T Hamilton took the ride lto over 3f further getting 8th after 690 days of the track , dont let the 8th deceive , after that break it was a phenomenal run and they led upto 2f out in a very good time for an 11yr old . This could be a very shrew move here by Mr Young and at 33s I am more than willing to take a chance. MAJESTIC MAYHEM absolutely loves this track and distance so much so he holds 4 C/D Wins. A simply Majestic 100% record 4 from 4. So I can see Majestic causing some mayhem and at 33s a place will be fine by me. But I do like to see the smaller yards slam in big winner. good luck though stick
Not much value at Pontefract just 3 short Priced runners 310 comedy king 2s available in paces and very fair 340 freedoms light 5/2available could be a steel 440 THURAYAAT 3s way to big plus r/f with likelihood also 3s
A very speculative one for me today, i'm a big fan of the trainer and its the only one he's sending out today so a pretty small ew on: 3:50 Worcester - Dancing Ecco 66/1
3 45 Gowran Park - ELUSIVE RIDGE e/w 16/1 Bang out of form and winless for ages but on a low mark in a weaker race that's not the strongest so at 16s I'm taking a chance on it as it will probably pop up again sooner or later
Was waiting for the thread to come up last night as I fancied two, but have both been mentioned already. Should have got up earlier I suppose, but they are PLAYHARA and THURAYAAT to continue with their winning streak. Stick, how do you think VULCANITE will fair today? With that claimer on board.
15:30 - Hexham: Stand Clear (Fully agree with UncleC above. Normally don't touch Sellers but this mare unlucky LTO, and has a squeak in this, so will try to get the 4/1 price (currently available in 4-places). She is bred to stay 5-miles, so distance is surely no problem!). Beautiful weather down here so off out for the day, GL to all having a punt!
I think he is now weighted to the hilt mate and not an easy ride for a claimer. They have had their touch with him and he will be very hard to place now.
