Sorry, I missed that earlier banter. Pirate, if Nines is absent (likely on shift), would you like to organize the thread for your game in an hour? This game really turned around didn't it - fair result in the end.
Didn't know you were a German Munich, I have a german mate who live in Passau who refers to the German team as "the krauts" so dont take any offence by it. Its just like using yanks, frog or sheep shatters to describe american, French and welsh/NZers (sorry kiwi!)
It brings reaction like that from Munch on the England thread (out of order and all as it was) and then subsequent reactions like Kilburn here. It all starts with yourself and your partner in crime doing the Johnny Bull act. This is the 2nd tournament this crap has started. Its time you reigned that sh*t in because its causing nothing but grief.
Bollox, it's all part of football, if you want a politically correct, sanitised, totally passionless forum f*ck off and find another one...
From a tactical point of view it was a good game. You may be used to other quality. Or you didn't simply see it. Lack of German football background? Stay with your perspective and I stay with mine. @Swords: Passau is not too far from here, good old Bavaria and quite nice as long as not under water ...
Yeah, was a Bayern and Blackburn fan, he came over here and Blackburn just happened to be playing at St Marys so he got to see his English team purely by chance. He doesn't support Bayern anymore as he said it was too boring winning everything. I told him to convert to QPR as we never win anything!
Cheers for the thread Kilburn. Unfortunately I was out tonight and missed this game, but after reading through this I wished I wasn't. It sounded like a cracker from what I've read on here. But beyond that, what I enjoyed most was reactions to our posters on here. I didn't realise earlier in the week that Munich wasn't an ex-pat. I saw his post after the England debacle and was somewhat taken aback. But having not been privy to what had taken place prior to this I decided to see what would suffice instead of jumping in with a knee jerk reaction especially as feelings were running a little raw at the time. This thread has made things a little clearer and well played Swords, Killy, Sooper, Flyer and of course Munich for the maturity exercised in making the situation far more understandable and undarkened.
