Last season we saw increasing influence from Livermore as the season wore on. Suspect that his contribution to the teams success will only increase as time goes by. Only 24 and does not seem injury prone.
I suspect that might also be because Jake has made it clear that he wants to come to us and the club feel relatively confident that the deal won't get hijacked by another club making him a better offer.
Cardiff paid £11M for Gary Medel whilst we have paid just over £12M for Huddlestone AND Livermore, says it all really. If Leicester can get two better midfielders for less than that I will give them credit, I find it highly unlikely though.

If you weren't always trying to big up your club and posted sensible stuff it wouldn't be so bad. You're comparing Ulloa against players who have already played in the Prem, so yes you're right he is overpriced, as are all of the others but if you seriously think you're going to survive without accepting that while ever other teams are prepared to pay more than you are for available players you are not going to get the quality that you need. If you don't want abuse try posting stuff that isn't designed to antagonise!
You bought him in the Championship in a relegation season 6 years ago. He's easily worth much more than £5m now.

That's what Saints signed him for years ago. He's worth more than that now. Probably about £12-15m to the right team.
