is this even legal? you can't just piggy back on the cardiff city badge without permission from the club……..

The badge is different though isn't it? Even the bluebird looks a bit odd.

should be pretty hard putting a trade mark on a bird I hope <ok>....its not as if tan cares for our little feathered friend anyway is it.

Badge is on the wrong side anyway and it looks nothing like the original. besides Brighton have the same motive so you could argue its theirs...There is nothing to say you cant make your own shirt.

The badge is CCST (Cardiff City Supporters Trust)

To me these should only be sold to trust members.

The trust and Bluebirds Unite say they are against modern football but both jumping on the bandwagon.

I agree, and this new shirt is not very helpful. On a side note, is there any reason to be against modern football? It is the behavior of certain people that we should be against, not try to lump it all in as "modern football".

What about this then. They sell thousands of these shirts, brilliant that Ty Hafan get some money also, and the supporters trust are also making money.....Off the back of the club, thats where it all ends for me.
If i were the owner (which i am not) i would be mighty cheesed off at this as it is taking money away from the club. What happens if he changes the strip back to blue, i bet you my last pound the Trust will continue to produce their replica's.
For me it leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. I would never buy one.

absolutely isaw, it should be all the profits not just £5 IMO.

making money off the clubs name like this is illegal, as its referred to as a cardiff city shirt. its wrong to profit out of it.

From what I understand the Trust are not making a penny.

How is it illegal? Its not - its got the Trust badge on it.

Thanks to Tan Cardiff City play in a red kid with a horrible beer mat badge with a small bluebird as an after thought.

Fans can still buy the red shirt. Even though I hate the red kit if someone wants to buy it I dont have a problem.

Shirt sales are down anyway. Only one person to blame and thats Tan.

Its all about choice. Buy both if you want.

Personally I hope its a sea of blue next season. ( ive a few blue polo shirts wouldnt wear a football top to a game anyway)
