Jose Enrique should have around 90 acceleration and sprint speed because no winger has out-paced him all season and he is comfortably our quickest player.

Tiote should have around 90 strength as no-one is able to muscle him off the ball and Drogba was quoted as saying that Tiote was stronger than him.

They're the main ones I can think of for now...

Ben Arfa should have more pace and control, ALTHOUGH i'm only judging this on the Everton game which he played.
Barton should have higher passing and crossing (say, 80-85), because his passes this year have been brilliant.
Coloccini should have higher tackling/defending in general (around 80). Been very solid this year (apart from a couple of howlers).

Krul- shot stopping/diving/reactions should be very high---Catching/dealing with crosses shouldnt be great
Simpson- good all round but tackling should be a weakness
Coloccini- Very skillfull calm composed player
Taylor-good in the air, solid CB
    Enrique- very talented, good dribbler/crosser
    Tiote-Very well balenced, great tackler
Barton- Great tackler and excellant long balls
Gutierrez- Very good dribbler but final cross/shot is weakness
    Ameobi-****e
Lovenkrands-quick, good movement, quite good finishing. Very weak
    Ben Arfa-Very skillfull, good shot

I'm probably gonna hold out on Ben Arfa until the January update, for all we know he could be terrible after his injury even though that's a pretty extreme scenario.

Agree with what's been said above. However, my grinds my gears with FIFA is how defensive the game is. I find it's very hard to beat the defender when you play the computer, if you do skill they just stand there and tackle you- you can't smoothly run round some players like in real life and even if you do, the players catch up with you with ease and make a simple tackle. Another thing, when you play against top players- you cannot get the ball off of them for the life of you! they just twist and turn without being tackled! <steam>

I know you mentioned you have nothing to do with this part of the game, I just fancied a rant! :)

If you got selected to be a data reviewer wouldn't you have had to display extensive knowledge on the players you're meant to be reviewing? You can do your own legwork, but here's a few obvious discrepancies.

Simpson's crossing is too high (75), he rarely puts a decent ball in.
S Taylor is far stronger than 78, and 19 positioning has to be a joke? 31 finishing and 74 heading are also too low given the number of goals he gets from relatively few chances
Coloccini needs lower heading than 77, would also lower his aggression from 85 and raise his dribbling.
Enrique's crossing should be much better than 76, and curve higher than 65. I'd boost both his tackling attributes, his acc/speed and strength also.
Barton's crossing should be in the high 80s, not 78. Remove the injury prone trait.
Tioté needs to basically be his TOTY version from UT, but slightly toned down.
Gutierrez should have lower crossing than 79, I'd also lower both finishing and long shots, and boost standing tackle considerably. Skill moves / weak foot to 4 stars maybe.

Well I'm sorry, I just thought fans would like to have their own input (Half the reason I became a data reviewer in April) and like I said, most major changes have already been done so its not exactly me being lazy.

Anyone have a link to all the Newcastle players stats for FIFA?

  15. I personally couldn't give two monkeys what Fifa give for our players, because i edit the players stats to make them more realistic.

    Here's what i've rated ours on Fifa 11 -

Harper and Krul both - 78

BUT - Harper's abilities are more consistant through out. Not of his individual ability are poor, but none of them are world class either.

Krul has some excellent abilities like position, shot stopping/diving/reflexes, however his handling and kicking are weaker than Harpers.

When i edit both players attributes they both end up being a 78.

    ---

Simmo - 75 overall - I didn't edit too much about him to be honest.

    --

Steven Taylor - Strength only 78? I edited him to 81 for strength, and also better at marking, and i made his heading accuracy and jumping better. He's a 78 overall, but i'm rating that on what he's like in form.

    --

Coloccini - Ok, he was far too strong and aggressive, and not nearly as skillful or agile. I put his strength down from 85 to 77, his aggression down to 74. I made him quicker. Sprint speed 80, agility 83. I made his heading accuracy 79. Overall he's a 78.

    --

    Enrique - Can't believe Fifa would only make him a 75... <doh>

I made him faster - Sprint speed 85 - Some people may this is too much, but he kept up with Walcott and not many have been quicker. I also gave him better strength as he was only 77 for strength i think? I made his strength 85 and balance 87. How often do you see him get push or knocked over? Never. He's got excellent power.

    Overall he's an 81.

    --

Tiote - Made him an 81 - Boosted his balance, dribbling and strength. Made his aggression pretty high, like 86. Ball controll good.

    Overall 81

    ---

Barton - Default he's a 78 - I edited some things. I made his crossing go up. He was only a 78 for crossing, i made it 83. I also took his aggression down a bit from 90 to 84. He's not as aggressive as before, but still good. He's a 79 overall after my edits.

    Overall 79.

    ---

Jonas - I decreased some of his stats - I made him a little less strong/balanced and took away his FK accuracy which was high for some reason, and i also put his crossing down to 75, which is probably still too high anyway. He was a 79, he's now a 78.

    ---

Ben Arfa - He was only a 78, which i think is ******ed since he was a 81 before the update at Marseilles. I made his dribbling ability 86, his agility 85 and sprint speed was also under rated. I've seen plenty of vids of him, and at Everton he blazed past a lot of players. I also made him a bit stronger and balanced. He doesn't seem to be weak at all, he can hold off players and stay on his feet well.

Overall he's a 82. Some people may think it's over rated, but sometimes the overall rating doesn't necessarily make the player more effective.

    ---

    Lovenkrands i deleved from a 76 to a 75.

I made him weaker, less balanced and gave him little aggression. However, his pace is undeniable. It was ridiculous at default like 90 sprint speed? He's not that fast anymore, i put it down to 87 sprint speed. I also gave him a bit more agility since it was low for him, and he has a quick pair of feet. I also decided to make his finishing ability 77, but put his head accuracy down to 68.

His pace makes his overall rating seem too high.

    ---

Shola - Well after i put some of his abilities down, he ended up dropping from a 73 to a 71.

    ---

    Best -

Under rated. I put his strength up to 79, his finishing ability 78. His positioning i actually put up to 80, since that's what gets him some goals. He could have bagged more than 6/10 if he was just passed to in the box. Head accuracy 75. He gets in the right place at the right time.

    Overall 76.

    ---

Ferguson - I made him fast, agility, skillful, a good passer of the ball, good reactions, decent aggression. If he's played at left back he's a 73, if he's played at LW he's a 75, but remember high paced players look a bit over rated sometimes. His crossing isn't that good or his finishing so i always try and dribbling my way into the box with him or play short nippy passes, linking up with Cabaye or HBA.

Overall - 75 since i play him a LW as an impact sub ;)

    .... and breath.

Probably best to mention I can only see stats and not overall (its supposed to stop us from focusing on overall and focusing on individual stats instead) so saying such and such a player should be x overall isn't really gonna help.

    Enrique - 80:

His runs forward have been fantastic, so much so that all of the big clubs are coming in for him. His balls in are sometimes unplayable for the defenders!

    Barton - 79:

His passing and crossing this season has been sublime. most of Carroll's goals were from Barton's deliveries and he has been a major weapon for us this season.

    Tiote - 80:

Awesome positioning, passing has sometimes been faultless (Debut vs Everton completed all passes). Only thing counting against him is his sometimes reckless tackling.
