We've apparently paid a total £7.5m on Jelavic now... http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...ops-pound-1m/story-21209167-detail/story.html
Its crazy that we have to pay this to stay at the same level. It shows you the problems with a loanee doing well and increases his market value. Is he worth £6.5m - no, is he worth £6.5m to us - probably
I get these fees we've paid having stayed up. Do I presume these are one off fees and not paid every year we stay up that the player remains at the club. Not sure how we'd find out this for certain though
Mail are saying Livermoor done deal at £6m... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Hull-City-permanent-6million-deal-Spurs.html
Happy to pay 6.5m for Livermore. As soon as word of Palace meeting the 6.5m hit I was sure we'd match that. 6.5m for a proven player who knows the system is a pretty easy figure to agree to.
The article says £6m, NOT £6.5m. No doubt it will be undisclosed when the deal is actually done. Personally feel we've paid slightly over the odds but you win some, you lose some. Huddlestone at £5.25 was a steal!
For all our over spending on players there's always our bargains like Curtis, McGregor, Chester & Huddlestone to offset it
Looks like the Jake Livermore non-saga is coming to a nice conclusion for us now. Not that Palace ever had a chance of Jake anyway. SSN via Hull City official saying that a fee has been agreed with Spurs and the deal should be completed early next week. That should please the hissy fitters.
