so here's the thing. sticking TWO on ronney last night should have made space and a field day for sturridge welbeck and sterling... frankly it says it all that it didn't.

I don't think italy have anyone else to do anything if pirlo was man marked... especially if soemoen goes 4-1-4-1 and just cuts off the space.

I can only give an opinion on what has happened so far.

What? I was asked to give an opinion/rating on a game that, at the time of posting the OP, hadn't actually happened.

 

Sorry, thought this was a rating of the "stars" so far, not one game. I am surprised so many different nationalities played in this one game though.

 

Maybe though Italy looked like they were playing for 180 minutes 40 minutes into that game

Costa did a good job on him. Though it can be argued Italy were utter ****e on the day, Pirlo included.

 

Well at least there's one Costa having a good World Cup.
