And the Oscar goes to..........Syd....?

  1. Now then lads

Just a bit of Friday night fun against the melee of who we sign, who's off and who cares.

Was watching ITV4 last weekend and the brilliant trilogy of Dirty Harry, Magnum Force and The Enforcer starring our very own Cest and wow, did the memory lanes open. Totally forgot about the Hi-jacked aeroplane scene in Magnum Force and the 'Might be a daft question, but can you actually fly a plane' line, to which in Eastwoods brilliant facial expression, NO is films at their best.

My avatar is of another cool dude, when Nicholson announces 'Wendy I'm Home', so the moral of the thread is to share your golden moments of watching the film greats and what floated your boat?

As I said, a bit of Friday night fun but hopefully enjoyable..

    Ha'Waaaaaaay the laaaaaads

Must confess I'm not a film fan but I do enjoy Clint and his very cheesy Good Bad and Ugly films. My type of film however is the good British type, Notting Hill, 4 Weddings and the like, I know, girly films but Osca enjoys them and you have to sit and watch dont you, kids.

Syd complained when I used Jack as my Avatar. :(

The classic one for me was "I hasta know!!" and Clint pulls the trigger. hahaha

Regarding Clint: I love the film 'High Plains Drifter' where he is given absolute power in the small mining town of Lago, and he makes the midget the sherriff and the mayor.

  8. Ha ha Syd & MR, Jack is Jack and his somewhat simplistic madness is so similar to my own :steam:

MrRAW, loved the Clint film where they are mining for gold and I think he's a priest that sort of shacks up with them? Enter the deputies, all in kharky coats at the end and the **** flies.

Classic films and best matched now by the Bruckheimer, Dick Wolf stuff on TV..
