    In order for us to win the World Cup, we must gather and pray for an Italy win. Screw all atheists, agnostics and Scientoligists, we don't need our well reasoned, logical arguments and querying nature.

    Get those prayer mats, beads, shrunken heads of your enemies, tribal scarring tools, incense, jew caps, nonsensical scriptures, icons of the virgin mary you must rub in a special place, children for sacrifice, witch-burning kits etc etc out...

    I love Pizza, pasta, renaissance art, Roman architecture and whoever scores the winner against these Costa Coffee ****ers.

    Even for their own sake, Italy need to win. Anything else and they have to avoid defeat to Uruguay and hope England can beat Costa Rica. Neither of those would be a given the way things have gone.

    It's upsetting me we're less than 30 minutes in, and Italy have reverted to long-ball... How has Pardew managed to change his appearance and convince someone to make him Italy's boss?
