I really want to go to Oz & New Zealand but the thought of the travel time puts me off.

 

Yep,Syndey and Perth

 

It's actually not that bad. much more room in those flights. loads of movies, free drinks

 

One of the guys I worked with just moved back to Melbourne from Aberdeen this week. Probably the smartest move he's made in the two years since he decided that Aberdeen was the place to be.

 

where abouts do you know?

 

Not sure, he's from Sydney but was working at the big refinery that Shell just sold in Melbourne.

 

Backed Australia to win the Derby. Never been to the country though.

 

Only one problem, it's full of Australian Ned kelly types. Not for this Bear.

 

I've been to Walkabout on the corner of Renfield St and Renfrew St if that counts?

You can break it up and stop off in Dubai or Singapore

 

Well if I broke it up i'd want to stop at the first available hospital on the flightpath.

How's Charlene and Scott these days?

 

Been to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Airlie Beach. Had a great time and the Aussies are extremely friendly and hospitable. Full of young backpackers though who are a pain in the arse.

 

Another tip,stay away from Wolf Creek!
