I popped round to someones early one morning, and they looked shocking. They said their neighbour kept them awake all night with his music. I said while they get ready, I'll pop and have a word. Banged hell out of the door to see how they liked being woken up, no answer. Banged loads more, shouted through the letter box etc, nothing.

Got a bit more of the story later, seems it had been the same about 8 months ago, until another neighbour popped round to have a word, after which it all went quiet. I said he sounds sort of reasonable if he listened to to the other neighbour, but that got a quizzical look, and then an "oh, no, not really" It seems the noisy neighbour was only quiet because he got locked up for taking an axe to the last person to bang on his door to complain. It's started up now because he's back out. <yikes>

Party if they have a care simply buy some shaving cream and cover the paint work with it over night,it will set rock hard and after be scrape off,did this as a trick years ago to a couple that got married, we didn't realise that it would set hard over night.

ive had a fair few bad neighbors...always tried doing things the proper way through council although thats a slow process it works 50 % of time, for the others most notably some polish family and a **** who used to do the welly club trance nights different methods were used, the polish went to bed earlier than me so the radio used to go bang up against there bedroom wall every night without fail, took 4 months n they were out....the other guy had a car and every time he had a all nighter he would end up paying to get something mended...was effetic.

The police don't handle it any more, you have to go through the council. They should provide a log for you to record the times of the disurbance and sometimes leave recording equpment. Unfortunatly it takes time but they will eventually contact said neighbour and threaten to confiscate the equipment. Happened to me one summer, they where broadcasting one of these internet radio stations( I found out later that these are illegal) from the back garden. It was so loud people where coming from 10 doors away to complain, not as bad as in the early hours of the morning, but still totally unacceptable behaviour. They did make the mistake of leaving the equipment out over night so I took great delight in giving it a really good watering whilst I was watering the garden

If we have a bad night soon I'm going to initiate proceedings with the Council.

All radio stations have to be licenced, you can not just set up a radio station. The vast majority of these internet radio stations ARE not licenced so therefore are illegal.

Anyone can start an internet radio station, it only costs £122 + VAT for a license and most internet radio stations are perfectly legal.

1/. Have a quite word in private.
2/. Have a not so polite word in public
    3/. Break his nose
4/. If it happens again, break it again until he gets the message.

Don't go for his property because that will get out of hand very quickly, unless he starts it.
If he scratches your car then you give his a nice set of nitro mores tiger stripes :emoticon-0105-wink:

And whatever you do, DON'T BACK DOWN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
