The way I see it we perhaps should behave like the Liverpool mods where we don't need to request a ban or discuss it and just ban people because we don't like them or what they might or might not say? What next banning's due to race, religion, ideology or hair colour? just makes your mods decision to ban without due cause open to ridicule. Ps. Just remember that's how Hitler started.
Calm down Robby Our mods are brilliant and he was banned for making certain comments Our board is extremely active with some brilliant contributors to the site. For it to remain that way, certain people get banned P.S ALL mods need to request a ban and then its looked at to see if its right to do - so anyone banned was seen as the right thing to do after looking at certain posts
If someone made numerous comments about Matthew Harding's death on here and clearly had an agenda with Chelsea fans I'd expect them to be banned from the Chelsea board.
Maybe mate, I never knew what it was like only what its like now There are supermods now which I think Syd got to help with the load
Who has an agenda with Liverpool? Londons Only, King Ossie etc, its really clear to see. are they banned? Yes. Is that a good thing? Of course They wouldnt be interested in discussing the good fortunes of Liverpool, for instance I came on your board saying you bastards getting Costa etc but they take it to another level sometimes. Not been anywhere near as bad recently tbf Cpofl was also banned off our board, and also under his old name 'Bridge of Sighs'
I believe he never made any comments on your board and that the banning was because he held a different point of view than you did?? Sorry bud that's the same thing in my book, I also read the comments to get the context in which they were written and having done a little looking into he was right about various clubs fans drinking too much before games in that era. Seems there are people who cry wolf without thinking of the consequences.
Then you would be wrong, Chelsea board mods have jurisdiction over their board only what people say on another board is for the mod who has been tasked for that area.
Everyone has a different point of view of course fella All I can say on that is that one particular comment was called out by other Chelsea fans as well, not just Liverpool fans. And his posting history etc...... Its not for you or I to decide, mods saw it and a ban was granted. Whats important is how they saw it and having provided proof it was granted, and thats really all we can say about it. He has stated he isnt bothered though so it isnt the end of the world. He is an aggressive poster towards opposite fans but like I say, thats up to him I like the fact I can discuss other teams and have discussions with other fans personally but obv thats just my preference
Yes but making derogatory remarks about things on whatever part of the site, however they think they've dressed them up.....surely you can see the point
Your opening part was spot on! "Everybody has a different point of view" Posting history doesn't really come into it as I believe he had none of posting derogatory remarks on your board as he never used it. I have PM'd him about it and your statement in an earlier post was again correct whereby he doesn't care about being banned from the Liverpool board on the grounds that he never used it or intended to. Lets hope our mods don't adopt the Liverpool method of exclusion or no one will be safe.
Saying he didnt mean that etc, when its obv its going to cause offence Look, we arent going to agree. I agree with making bad comments wherever should get you banned off our board and you obv dont You seem a good reasonable poster, Johnson Baby said you were a good poster on BBC 606 (I cant rem you) and if he says that, thats good enough for me Here we will just have to leave it at that, hes banned for posts he's made and thats the end of it really fella. The final decision wasnt down to a Liverpool mod, but on posts/evidence presented it was obviously granted
