He ripped us to shreds in the second half at Hull last season. In the return match at Anfield he couldn't be arsed and barely k kicked the ball. Is McManaman from Wigan a plazzy Mick like Aldridge and lawrenson? Could be one for the future. Or Catermole! :emoticon-0110-tongu

Gerrard was at fault for the second goal but so too was Jagielka who failed to track Suarez and didn't anticipate the flick on. Jags is clearly out of his depth at international level.

How could he have anticipated that Gerrard would send it sailing 20 yards over his ****ing head?

Under pressure from Cavani, Gerrard got as much of the ball as he could, and also he couldn't have known his CB and FB's bad positioning.

Suarez, being Suarez, gambled. He races offside of Cahill betting that Cavani wouldn't get a touch of the ball. Cahill saw him offside and bet on the likely scenario that Cavani would get a touch of the ball. The rest is history. And where the fack was Baines?

My apologies - here's me thinking that defenders should anticipate the ball coming to them, or keep a check on the men they're marking.

This goes back to a point I made on another article - this is why I can't support England anymore because of biased fans who are can't go beyond domestic rivalries for one month and will only support their own players and criticise players for rival teams.

If you think Jagielka was completely faultless - then you Sir, are a moron.

If Cavanni doesn't touch the ball he's still offside ffs. Or are you trying to say that he anticipated a miscue off the back of Gerrards head? The backline played him off.

Anticipate? How the actual **** could he have anticipated what Gerrard did? Don't talk like a ****.

Once Gerrard ****ed up his header there was nothing that he could do. Cahill was stranded as Suarez was now onside do the **** up and he had a 5 yard head start.

Gerrard shouldn't have gone for that header if he couldn't make solid contact, end of.

If that punt was 10 yards longer and Cahill went for it and it skimmed off the back of his head into the net, you'd all say that was a massive **** up, but St Stevie does the same thing but further out and it's just an unfortunate fluke and the CB's should have anticipated his **** up and somehow transported themselves 20 yards back in a nano second.

Given that post and your 'logic' for absolving Gerrard, the irony is obviously lost on you - Moron indeed.....

i think someone needs to post suarez making love to forlan on the uraguay bench and see why really the non lfc fans are so eager to afix total blame to slippy g.

if it were any other player scoring twice the anger would be far less... acutally i'm surprised nobody bar our tame wums have been on going nuts about suarez being so happy.

Watch the tape, f*cking clueless tit. He would have been totally onside had the last touch on ball remained his keeper's punt <doh>

Jag's positioning and anticipation are not international level - in fact, suarez showed him up the derbies as well.

He's a classic, old style English defender. Quite clueless and sh*t on the ball.

Let's all keep the insults down I only reply to tobes as once again Cahill wasn't marking cavani so it should have been jagielka jumping for said header

He was 25 yards ahead of where it was dropping you clueless ****ing cleft.

He'd have never received that ball as Jags was behind Gerrard ready to clear it and Cahill was also between where the ball was coming down and Suarez. He was hoping for a flick on from Cavanni but had been played offside by the England backline.

He's a decent player I think that's a bit harsh though... He IMO was short of match practice and all I'm saying is blame all 3 or no-one

Suarez has showed up virtually ever CB in the league, as he's World Class.

Jags is a quality CB. Suarez did him for the first goal, end of story.
