Hahaha well that's a curveball innit, not a traditional style hat but more a garment with a built-in head covering, I'd imagine, now that I know the facts that this '****ers hat' originated somewhere in Arabia and has evolved with a western twist!

No pics fella, just been doing the Summer pots, Live in a rented house and planning on moving this year so kept it to a minimum. Got some gorgeous trailing Russian nasturtiums for the the hanging baskets that will flower right into late autumn early winter, red and white/cream theme as always, when they hit full bloom I'll take some pictures. Love it me. Could do it for a living.

Not familiar with those fella apart from Murraya. Don't have time or space for hedging though I am dabbling with decorative box. Got my next skill to master, Creating standards with artistic grafting.

Talk about history repeating itself ......
..... I wonder if Colback sees any ginger related link between leaving a relegation threatened club and turning his new club into one <whistle>
I wonder what his win percentage at Newcastle would be ....... anyone?

    http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport...tion-battles-once-i-left-sunderland-1-7296482

The Mags seem to be well and truly turning on someone they claimed could improve improve at Newcastle.
Some of the comments, from when he signed, are coming back to bite them on heir arse.

"The lad seems to be getting better every game.
I saw a stat yesterday where he was one of the top 10 prem footballers in terms of distance covered.
Considering he was free and is probably on 'normal' level wages I'd say we have an absolute steal on our hands.
He really has stepped up a gear since leaving the Mackems and on top of that he's a Mag living his dream."

    Living the dream <laugh>
He'll be living a nightmare when the booing starts and he's subbed ......... can't be long for Cabaye's replacement.
Is it my age or can I remember the Mags claiming he'd just be a fringe player?

The issue is when we signed Colback it was assumed he would be as a cover, 3rd or 4th choice central midfielder. What we've seen is him become the most undroppable player in the squad.
He and Anita aren't bad individually, just run of the mill players. Put them in centre mid as a pairing, though, and it becomes the most uninspiring and boring partnership I can ever remember.

Still better than Cattermole though, who has made a lot of Sunderland fans look daft too <ok>

By the supporters, obviously not the last 3 managers ....... I doubt Pardew will be wanting him to replace Cabaye again though <whistle>

I can assure you I certainly wasn't. In fact, I remember saying, on here, that I was devastated that we were signing him and the only thing that had comforted me was the bitter statement that Sunderland released shortly afterwards. That was gold dust <laugh>

I like McClaren but even he appears to be going down the same route with the tried and test Colback, Coloccini, Krul etc. None deserve a place on merit but manager after manager comes in and makes them the centre of everything. Baffles me mate it really does.

Not much choice with Krul as he's the best you have in that position ........ but Coloccini is shameful at times and no leader.

Newcastle haven't had a decent captain for a while and it shows, Colback would be a disaster as he's too shy.

It's no surprise that we often look passionless and leaderless when our captain has actively gone on strike to get away from us and our vice captain has monthly meeting with the press to remind top 4 teams that he's available <doh> I don't rate Steven Taylor much but he'd be playing and captaining if I was manager, it's an under-estimated role in my opinion.

McClaren is the kind of manager the Mags will turn on as quickly as they did with Allardyce.

He has a really annoying line of patter and an annoying habit of smiling in defeat.

To say 'that was just what we needed' after the match last night is the kind of comment that will come back to bite him.
